Manning disenfranchised a huge portion of the Titans/Vols fanbase in middle Tennessee as well as in other parts of the state. Before he could have run for governor and would have received 89% of the vote. Now he could not win the race for dog catcher.

Manning is now forever Jughead to me and he is forever dead to me.

Besides that, Manning makes WRs look good, often better than they really are.

yes, but the whole point is he finally had the opportunity to go somewhere where he didn't have to make people look better than they are.

he wouldn't have to be great in san francisco. he is great, so that would be a plus.

but, they would win without him being great as would some other teams.

he did a lot for the univ of tennessee and supports the school.

he doesn't owe the state of tennessee or the tennessee titans a damn thing

How do you know Peyton wanted a front office job? It's clear that was not important. They were a way better running team and everyone knew they would run pretty much every down. After Britt who can't stay healthy the receiving cores are equal and their D is better. One team won their division and won a playoff game.

Yeah, and 1,000 yard receiver Nate Washington, Jared Cook, one of the more promising up and coming Tight ends in the League, with solid slot option in Lavelle Hawkins and Damian Williams, not to mention CJ out of the backfield.

I'll take our skill players over Denver's everyday.

Not much difference. The Titans play in a weaker division, also Manning is more familiar with AFC south defenses. The Chargers own Manning. All the defenses in that division are good and will get more hits on Manning

Titans are better on offense, without Brian Dawkins the Broncos are gonna suck on defense.
