Manning will find success with whatever he does.. I'd much rather him do this and avoid politics personally.

This isn't the first time Manning has owned a football team. He owned the Alabama Crimson Tide in the mid 90s....

Shouldn't you include he was owned by at least two teams as well?
Florida and patriots?

Florida? Yes. Patriots had a losing record against him in the AFC Championship game, so the springboard to the Super Bowl “owned” him I guess?

The person bidding to be majority owner has reached out to Peyton to bring him in to a minority ownership position with his group which is supposedly offering 2.5 billion + for the panthers. Word is Peyton is listening . Hope he joins and they get ownership

Still baffles me that there were so many conspiracy theorists who thinks he aligned with the Haslams for an ownership stake of the Browns.

Like anyone in their right minds want to own the Browns

Aww shucks Manning and UT got beat by Spurrier and those pesky Gators in the 90's. Along with everyone else that played them. It's not Manning's fault Chavis couldn't stop Spurrier offense. But hey lets not bring up everyone else Manning and UT owned, right?

As for the Pats. Last three AFC championships they faced off, Manning beat them (2006, 2013 & 2015). When it mattered most. A reporter asked Belichick one time what team he does not want to face and he said "Manning". So yeah Gators had Manning's number but it does not take away the fact he beat Bama, UGA, Ohio State and many more in his career at UT. Same with the NFL.

Yeah like those morons from AllFromTennessee.com who keep accusing him of conspiring against UT.

Peyton's done more for the University that that site ever will.
