An Ohio State fan at my office insists that they will somehow end up in the title game, after "a bunch of losses by SEC teams." LOL!!!

Even with 1 win, does Notre Dame qualify for a bowl under some special rule?

No.. but I am sure next year they will make a rule so that BD can go to a bcs game despite wins and losses.
