Mmm I’m pretty sure we were told ITT that once Manafort is convicted he will sing like a canary about Trump. Is that no longer the case?

Why wasn’t Trump briefed about this worrisome foreign agent and his evil henchman Gates? So we now have three evil agents that have infiltrated the President Elects campaign and not a single peep from intel or DOJ warning him?! Instead they spy on him?!

Absolutely ridiculous and I don’t blame Trump for going off the rails on the lot of them.

Turns out, they have quite a paper trail on this. News today is that they are introducing emails showing Manafort directing Gates to move money from these foreign accounts.

As long as they have a paper trail to back up Gates' testimony they're good. If not it's pretty weak.

My theory on this is coming into sharper focus. The testimony has been that Manafort was broke in 2016. He was desperate for money. He had no deals pending. Yet, he went to go work for the Trump campaign for free. This was a guy making millions, now making nothing, and he works for free?

The only thing he accomplishes is getting the platform removed from the GOP list that criticized Russia for invading Crimea.

My theoryh is that Mueller thinks that Manafort got paid handsomely for that by the Russians. And, he may think that Trump knew about it. Maybe even got some of the money out of the deal. Now if Manafort can give him that, then its game over for Trump. It makes sense because it explains Trump's recent frenzy to discredit Mueller and distance himself from Manafort.
