“If we hadn’t turned it over twice, we’d be further ahead than we are”

What a loser comment. His QB turned it over cause he was pressured passing. That happens when teams get pressure on qb. If Tennessee hadn’t got outrun by their sprinter, he wouldn’t have been ahead at all, DUH!

Turnovers forced by pressure or hard hits are good defense. Turnovers received cause teams drop the snap or fumble a punt are good fortune. There’s a difference when evaluating play. Tenn D was forcing his QB to turn the ball over or take big sacks.

Might be because he knows he's in trouble. The natives are getting restless in The Barn, he's feeling the pressure and may be compensating with confidence he doesn't really feel.

I said “soon”. He’ll be bought out sooner than later. Auburn can fire coaches with the best of them.
I hope he stays for another year or 2 with that buyout and the barn continues to burn so we can win some recruiting battles with them. It seems like we are always going against them for multiple recruits, esp on defense.

It was more of how he said it. He was all smug looking and dismissive
Thought exactly the same thing. Not a homer comment by me...thought he was smug and cocky like he’s explaining away why it’s close and it came back to bite him. Auburn is flaming now and it’s great not to be the one with mattresses sold out all over the state! Sweet thing about noon game is enjoying the rest of the day and positive press...for once in a long time. Go Vols!!!

Arrogant and ignorant comment. Get used to hearing him talk. He’ll soon have a seat beside Chizik on the failed coaches show.
Not saying he's a top class coach but he's no failure either. He won an SEC title, almost won a national title and has beat Saban twice. We beat a good team today, we should be damn proud

He has to stay unless they settle, not only is the buyout big but it has to be paid within 90 days of termination! Sexton took advantage of their new president in that contract! Auburn may be in trouble for a while.

First time I've watched the highlight shows in a season and a half

Normal coach speak would have been, we can’t turn the ball over like that. We have to limit the turnovers. Not, we would be up by more if we hadn’t turned the ball over.
Yeah, when you put it that way it sure does sound arrogant.

I did not see that part but it sounds like he was being a condescending azz.
