WKU coming on
Think your coach is safe now
Another win or 2 will help but I understand your thinking for sure
He's safe as is, I imagine. Make the NCAAT and there's no way he goes anywhere. Would be extremely hard to fire a coach with 3 NCAAT appearances in 5 seasons. I just wish we had better regular season results. Im tired of seeing mediocre records and attendance has been pretty dismal. Heard some fans earlier this year said he needed more time to implement his system and players. He's in his 5th year and was on staff as an assistant for 3.5 years prior to taking over, how much more time would he need? The defending of Harper is ridiculous at times.
Dang I had no idea he had 2 tourneys in past 4 years
Yes he is safe for sure then

MTSU used to be an annual sellout; this year there was probably 4-5k out of 7,500 seats.

Yes he has done a hell of a job with this team as Rick has done with the Vols. I believe in giving credit where credit is due. Just hope both coaches can carry this over into the next season.
WKU and UT are sort of mimicking each other right now.
Side note: Jabari call my attention to this in one of our conversations today. Several teams that recruited him and that he turned down are going to the dance. Florida Gulf Coast, UNCashville, Monmouth, Chattanooga and UNCWimbleton.
Oh Lawd! I can't deal with another coaching change. Lol. Just kidding. I have never met this coach and I don't know much about him. I know both assistants and I'm giving Harper the benefit of the doubt. I hope he will improve with the implementation of his system utilizing what he has and is bringing in for next year. Looking at who's coming back Im excited going into next season.
IMO, WKU has shifted their focus to football and as long as we keep winning there, the measuring bar for "success" in basketball will be lower than it was 10-15 years ago. A 15-15 record 10 years ago would've had the natives going crazy. Now days it's disappointing but not unacceptable. They should be in the upper tier of CUSA next year.
