And yall wonder why I keep thinking there is a racial agenda against Dobbs?

I don't wonder, you're just a racialist looking to beat a horse past death that never existed.

Now, the UFO crowd has a point. Astro has no eyebrows and does "things" some consider not humanly possible, so he may be an alien!

LOL. Now I've heard it all. Stop giving our QB so much praise???

And yall wonder why I keep thinking there is a racial agenda against Dobbs?

1st of all...Dobbs throws a good pass about 35%-40% of the time...certainly not his strength

About 15%-20% of those 60%-65% of his bad passes are caught with some miraculous catches by receivers

He's just NOT that good of a throwing QB

He's an EXCEPTIONALLY tough, quick and smart runner of the ball

Bringing up his Race or even mentioning it is, however, quite asinine and lacks any form of relevance

Racialist? That's a new one. I'll just say this, the dismissive attitude some fans around here have for our starting QB, a QB nearly every other fanbase in the SEC would die for escapes my comprehension.

I lived thru the Steve McNair years in Nashville and the overt racial bias toward him still sticks out to me. Its hard to just forget something like that.

Did you think we gave Crompton so much he!! In 08' because he was white? And nobody disliked McNair because of his color...

Does anyone think Dobbs gets a little more credit than he deserves from the announcers? Don't get me wrong. He's a solid QB and he's clearly improving, but he's really putting up pretty pedestrian number through the air. Probably gets more credit because hes an Aerospace Engineering major, or haven't you heard?

If we're rushing for over 250 a game, how much yes do you expect him to throw for? Right around 200. Look at any school with over 250 yes rushing and tell me how much they act through the air.

Racial agenda? Don't be such a tool..... Haven't you noticed that most of the Vols are black and that in spite of this we all support them every week? Don't bring that weak ass racial **** up in here.

The kid will be an All-American next season I really believe
He has the ability and mind set to become an All-American but believe that he won't. Coaching staff likes to rotate too many recievers during a game taking away opportunities and a chance from him to get in a grove. Ultimately, i hope you're the one who is right though.

A smart, articulate, athletic young man who seems to have a sense of morality and civility, not to mention with two great parents. If you dont like this kid because of his skin color, then damn you really dont like black people.

You are still living through the Steve mcnair years, just using Dobbs now

Dobbs showed today he can throw it pretty good if he gets protection. We're not far from being a totally unstoppable on offense.

Josh had little protection on the throw to Malone...he did a great job moving in the pocket and making an accurate throw on a deep ball....FINALLY.

All that being said, Josh is a playmaker, he's a winner, but he's not a consistently accurate passer, good protection or not. He still missed a handful of throws that accurate passers just don't miss. Either way, he's our QB and we can definitely win with the kid because of the plays he's able to make both with his feet and his arm.

Because you're RACIST and look for it in everything? Casey Clausen was a clutch QB for us and had some bad luck his last two seasons in Knoxville. We have a large section of fans who probably regret being a little unfair in retrospect...what was THEIR "racial agenda"?...fans overreact when their expectations aren't 100% met. I haven't witnessed anything that personal against Dobbs. He needs to get more consistency in his throws for our offense to flourish...where are the personal attacks? In short, you're an Al Sharpton/Jesse Jackson starter kit. :hi:

Steve McNair was a hero in Nashville until his performance slipped...hate that you had to "live through" that, but I don't think your screen treatment ripoff of Selma is going to get greenlit.

Only racial problem I see in here is you for bringing it up when there is no reason to. I guess it's like any learned behavior though. Starting to feel uncomfortable? Pull the race card. From what I've seen most people really think highly of Dobbs on and off the field. Keep that crap off the board, and take your agenda elsewhere.

Terribly inaccurate as a passer.

Had over 100yds tonight. Josh is starting to become our best receiver

He is definitely improving, but I have to disagree and say Josh Smith is becoming our best receiver, now Smith might be peaking where Malone could just now be taking off... I don't know, hopefully they both have a lot more shining moments for us to enjoy.

Pump the breaks guys . Yes he had over 100 yards receiving but 60 of them was on one play

I have nothing against them but North and Croom are in the rear-view mirror at this point. Until they can actually participate in practice and make an impact on the field, we need to concentrate on those who currently add value to the team.

Vols passing game is finally starting to pick up a little momentum, thank goodness, but it still has a way to go just yet, don't you think?

Don't think our type offense with Dobbs can facilitate an all-American WR regardless of how well Malone develops

I certainally don't see why not, Vols offense can use an all american type receiver just as well as any other offense, don't kid yourself.........
