If I'm not mistaken your info shows you are a Titans fan. How many former Vols are on the primary or practice roster of your favorite team that is the flagship team for the state of Tennessee that is located 3 hours from Knoxville in the middle of the SEC.

None.

The Titans can go pound sand. They have no desire to represent this state. They could be in Montana and wouldn't care as long as they made money. Most of the rest of us will continue to support the NFL teams that take care of our VFL's. That's where our loyalties reside.

So just because the Titans are in the same state as the Vols, they should always have to carry a UT player on their roster?

Denver (and to a lesser extend KC) both actually have a history of drafting VOLS. Seriously look back the last 10-20 years at Broncos rosters. I noticed the trend back from playing Madden (from original till now) I would always raid the other teams and trade for all the UT players Every year I would go straight to Denver and KC to get my raid on then do the search through the other rosters.

So yeah I have always followed Denver because they have always had a lot of Vols on their team same with KC to an extent. But yes having Peyton does make it THE NFL team I'm going o follow. I will be a Niners fan till I die but till Peyton retires wherever he plays I will follow. Because he is my second favorite player of all time behind the G.O.A.T. number 80.

IIRC, the Titans tried that route a time or two, with less than desirable results.

But they still have Mike Keith!

lol wow...that may be the dumbest post I have ever read.

So we arent loyal if we live in the state and actually support our state NFL team just because they dont have any Vols on their current roster? They had Travis Henry at one point and even went out of their way to help him with supporting all his kids.

You must be a fan of every team in the NFL then?:blink:
