Malik Foreman...

He did try to strip the UGA receiver when he was 2 yards in the end zone though.

When is the last time we had a stout DB unit? Seems like a looong time. Our DBs are not good, and as everyone as said, we are getting very little pass rush except for Barnett. We are just not a very good defensive team, which is why I couldn't believe that Jones punted the ball away late. Yea, it was risky--so is giving the other team the ball. We had a few factors in our favor, but with another 20 seconds or a TO georgia would have tied the game. I wonder if there had been 2 minutes left in the game rather than a little over a minute if Jones would have still punted. Probably.

Lane Kiffen is licking his chops when looking at tape of McNeil, Randolph, and especially Mosely & Foreman. I said after game 1 as you go through the season, other teams will find your weakness and target you for the rest of the year now its up to the player to take on the challenge and Mosely and Foreman have FAILED miserably. Mosely has 0 ball skills when the ball is in the air, but he does like to tackle in the flat so I can see why he gets playing time. Foreman is out there by necessity, but I would put M. Abernathy out there as that is the future. It can't get any worse.

Seems like Cam is playing NOT to get hurt for the draft and it shows............as he has been beat and missed a lot of tackles in the open field

I'd like to replace Mosely-Foreman with Evan Berry and Todd Kelly.

Let McNeil and Randolph play safety.

Keep Mosely, Foreman and Martin if healthy for subs.

Foreman is a good athlete with plenty of speed. What has set him back is he didn't really have any coaching until he got to UT. As someone stated above, the fundamentals. The high school he came from probably has the worst defensive backs coach of any high school in the state.

You live in Kingsport? I remember Malik playing QB, but did he ever play on the defensive side ?

Hard to say but he could be overcompensating for others or he could be hesitating because of what others are doing? He has been dinged up too.

Watching the replay of the game. No one on our team appears as in over their head as Malik Foreman. Stating the obvious based on his play this year, I know. You could put a highlight tape together of just him getting burned deep, missing tackles, getting juked/stiff armed, etc. Kid is absolutely not an SEC player. Cannot wait until Gaulden is healthy again and we can recruit some more secondary talent. It's sickening seeing Foreman looking like a 15 year old in this UGA game

E. Moseley is also not very good at all (again, it's been obvious all year). He was burned a few times also, and isn't physical at all.

Is it a coincidence that neither player was highly rated/recruited? Both look seriously inept at their respective positions.

forget that part where he broke his nose in the UF game? that might have something to do with the lack of physicality

Absolutely stupid post.

And in response to him being burned, it happens as a corner. The good ones just get burned less often. 1 on 1, the reciever should win every time. Take last nights touchdown against him as an example; he was in good position and made a good play on the ball. It happens.

But to say he is playing to not get injured is beyond ridiculous.

He played QB in middle school and a little in the 9th grade. On varsity he played receiver and defensive back going both ways. Three games into his senior season the starting QB went down and they moved him to QB. He continued to go both ways hardly ever coming off the field. He is a very good athlete but was just so far behind in coaching. I'm not to sure the DB coach at Tennessee is the type that can take a "raw guy" and coach him up. I think he was taught a lot of bad habits in high school.

Pretty spot on. The db coaches would just win off of talent and that always showed when the playoffs came around.

Cam needs to go back to #23..He did man up on the TD but that was just a spot on pass just about a tie to the ball but usually Receivers win those 50/50 balls.

Lame loves to throw the bomb which is not good for us

Our defense does not match up well at all with their offense.

The good thing is that their defense doesn't match up well with our offense either.

Prepare to see a similar score to the one we had yesterday in my opinion.
