Watching the replay of the game. No one on our team appears as in over their head as Malik Foreman. Stating the obvious based on his play this year, I know. You could put a highlight tape together of just him getting burned deep, missing tackles, getting juked/stiff armed, etc. Kid is absolutely not an SEC player. Cannot wait until Gaulden is healthy again and we can recruit some more secondary talent. It's sickening seeing Foreman looking like a 15 year old in this UGA game

E. Moseley is also not very good at all (again, it's been obvious all year). He was burned a few times also, and isn't physical at all.

Both could be nicknamed toast. And with Cam Sutton on the other side expect other teams to continue.

The thing with foreman that gets him in trouble is turning his back to the play. Instead on twisting his hips and keeping his chest towards the quarterback/play he spins around. He stops doing that and you would see a huge improvement in him. He had the instincts, breaks on the ball correctly in zone, and had the speed to stay with most receivers. But that one thing sets him back. Fundamentals.

Brian Randolph has been less than stellar this year as well. I honestly think the secondary is the weakest part of the team.

Let's be real. Not just him. Our secondary was burned on multiple deep routes. If I was another team. That's the only play I would practice for us

I kept scratching my head when they were talking about good DB depth at the beginning of year.
I think it's been a deficient area in Butch's recruiting. I can't belive Martin isn't seeing more time yet.
Foreman is a head scratcher. Fastest player on team and been in program long enough to be better than this. They miss Mike Williams.

Their greater issue is inconsistent safety help.

For every big-time play McNeil, Kelly, or Randolph makes, there is another play where a bad defensive read is made or a bad angle is taken.

As a result, Foreman and Moseley are being asked to cover 1-on-1 way too often. They aren't the kind of players that should be relied upon as shutdown corners.

Foreman is a good athlete with plenty of speed. What has set him back is he didn't really have any coaching until he got to UT. As someone stated above, the fundamentals. The high school he came from probably has the worst defensive backs coach of any high school in the state.

This includes Cam as well this season, he has not been the lockdown CB he was in the past. He has been burned and made to look very ineffectual at times more this one season than his previous 2 years combined IMO.

I disagree with everything you just said. He's just not good. That's it.

Mosely drives me crazy, he can occasionally make a play, then he gets burned badly 3 times. I think he gets targeted alot for that very reason!

We won a big game finally, so why the negativity? It's obvious that this team wins and loses together, and they haven't pointed any fingers at any weak link.
