Sources confirmed that his first name is actually one of the leading rushers in UT history... not Fumble. Weird.

Seems like blaming Fulmer is a bit off imo, not that he didn't take the foot off the pedal, but Kiffin's class destroyed the roster.

I don't really care, just sick of hearing the same mudslinging, be glad when it stops.

Austin Johnson played decent tonight, a couple tackles and a pass break up in a three point loss, in the Stars and Stripes All Star Game. Poole will be in the East West Shrine Game along w/ former Vols BJ Coleman and Lennon Creer, on the 21st.

It will and should stop in 2013. There will be no one to blame but the current staff.

It's gonna be funny as hell if Poole does work in the NFL after all the haters on here. Good luck to both of them!

Regardless of who is to blame for the horrible roster....your post SHOULD make it fairly simple for those that HATE Dooley to see what kind of mess he inherited. Rome wasn't built in a day and sometimes it's really hard to get all the dog sheeot off your shoe when it's a really big pile.

I don't think it really matters much what I think. We(fanbase) are three years removed from Kiffin and four years removed from Fulmer. It's time for Dooley, and his roster of recruits to bleed some Orange and win some games, games they're s'posed to win with a few surprises to boot. If Dooley can't get it done, time to go.

I think based on the circumstances that a little more patience with Dooley is in order. He may not be the man for the job, but damn....it takes time to rebuild after a gutting like this.

This is exactly how I feel. I like Dooley and I hope he is the guy, but it is almost irrelevant how many games he wins or loses in the long term.

He has been exactly what our program needs at this time. People cannot seem to get it that we could have hired Tom Landry and be exactly where we are now.

Somebody had to come in and rebuild and there were always going to be disappointing losses. Whether Dooley is here 4 years or 15 years, our program will be a lot better off than it was when he arrived. Period.

People who are blinded by their need for instant gratification are not helping at all. Whether you believe Dooley is the right guy or not shouldn't matter. Showing unconditional support for the program is what should separate us from the Bama's and the USCe's of the world.

Right now, more than anything, this team needs support.

Apparently Tauren Poole is absolutely showing out at the Senior Bowl practices:

East-West Shrine Game Wednesday practice report - Tony Pauline - SI.com

Tony Pauline said:
Tauren Poole, RB, Tennessee -- Poole established himself as the top running back at the Shrine Game on Tuesday, then further affirmed this opinion in the minds of scouts today. He displayed incredible quickness and elusiveness every time he touched the ball, and also showed the uncanny knack to get past the line of scrimmage and through open running lanes without being touched by a defender. In the open field he showed a burst of speed and the ability to catch the ball. It was another terrific day for the Volunteer product.
