I was reading an article earlier today where Heupel admitted that having Nico on the roster makes it hard to get an experienced quality QB in the portal. Heupel also admitted that lack of qb experience is a concern. My question to Heupel would be why haven't you given either of your backups meaningful playing time? What's especially perplexing to me is how Gaston Moore followed him over from UCF and knows the offense and he hasn't gotten any snaps really. I'm going to be really mad if I don't see Nico or Gaston throwing passes to starting receivers in the bowl.

Good Lord, give it a rest. First, Gaston Moore still knows the offense and will still be on the team. He can run the offense if needed, just doesn't have premium skillset. When he is in he runs it fine. Not every coach plays every player significantly.

You’ll get over it

Joe has incriminated photos of Josh at a Knoxville goat farm. That’s the only reason I know as to why he got all the snaps this year.
Do you people not think he might have concerned about durability? 6' 6" and 200 lbs is a recipe for serious bodily harm in the SEC. Don't need another damaged QB to disappoint the masses.

I agree. Let’s play the bigger dude that runs out of bounds to avoid contact.

I’m sure he will play 7 for 3 quarters in the bowl game too.

This take is just silly. Plenty of small QBs playing just fine. Realistically Nico will struggle to put on 10-15 lbs before next season. That’s being generous. 20 if it’s Big Mac weight which wouldn’t be good. So tell me what’s 15 lbs look like spread across a 6’6 frame? Literally nothing. Barely noticeable if at all. But I guess you’ll say he’s ready when he hits the field 8 lbs heavier next year. He should’ve gotten experience this year, plain and simple. Our season was over when we **** the bed at Florida.

The best way to make sense.
1. Josh Heupel knows what the situation is better than any of us

@VFL-82-JP mentioned Ollie Lane starting at QB. If this staff dashes Lane's hopes and he ends up transferring, their seat's gonna get real warm real fast.
It's really unacceptable that they would let a guy like Milton play and stunt Ollie's growth like they have this season.

Gotta wonder if Heupel knows anything about developing a QB or the position in general.

If he knew anything about the position, he wouldn't have been first loser in the Heisman vote.
