Make fun of Tex a&m

This is old, I made it in 2008 - but since we are taking on Coach Chavis I thought it was relevant.

If you look at that thread, Aggies shot those ideas down as being too classless.

As a reminder to everyone...Bonfire jokes are off limits and everyone going to A&M this weekend should try to visit the bonfire memorial.

Thanks ntx....

The Bonfire Memorial is certainly worth visiting for those making the trip to C.S.

FWIW, the 12th victim of that collapse was Tim Kerlee, a Tennessee native and A&M freshman at the time.

A&M is where quarterbacks go when they can't compete with the greatest of all time!

And of course, I'm referring to Peyton. Not Baker Mayfield.

I think we can all agree that hating Florida and Georgia is easy. I find it harder to hate A&M. Thus far spewing vitriol about our opponents has worked. Let's put some good reasons to hate them out there and maybe a couple will stick in our collective craw.

I will just let you guys who knows what he says laugh at this one.

Hey, we got some aggies in here. In case you're not familiar with these threads, just know it's all in fun. Unless you win, then I personally mean every meme I've posted😜

I personally knew someone who passed away in that tragedy. Wish I could be there.

I saw this post after I responded above. I knew Tim. Went to my church. Incredible kid. It was especially difficult because he passed away on the birthday of another friend of mine from church, who had passed away 2 years earlier.

It was the first day of 2nd Grade in a new town for Little Johnny. As a test, his teacher went around the room and asked each of the students to count to 50. Some did very well, counting as high as 30 or 40 with just a few mistakes. Others couldn't get past 20. Johnny, however, did extremely well; he counted past 50, right up to 100 without any mistakes. He was so excited that he ran home and told his Dad how well he had done. His Dad nodded and told him, "That's because you are from Texas A&M, Son." The next day, in language class, the teacher asked the students to recite the alphabet. It's 2nd Grade, so most could make it half way through without much trouble. Some made it to S or T, but Little Johnny rattled off the alphabet perfectly right to the end. That evening, Johnny once again bragged to his Dad about his prowess in his new school. His Dad, knowingly, explained to him, "That's because you are from Texas A&M, Son." The next day, after Physical Education, the boys were taking showers. Johnny noted that, compared to the other boys in his grade, he seemed overly "well-endowed". This confused him. That night he told his dad, "Dad, they all have little tiny ones, but mine is ten times bigger than theirs. Is that because I'm from Texas A&M?" he asked. "No, Son," explained his Dad, "That's because you're 18."

For those going to the game, seek out an Old Ag and he can provide better Aggie joke material than anything found in this thread.

We used to enjoy poking fun at ourselves and the 101 Aggie Joke books were extremely popular and sold in the campus and area bookstores. Aggie jokes started to be discouraged during our quest to be a world-class university, and I kind of understand, but still miss that self-depreciating component.
