Since Dobbs has an obvious problem throwing the ball deep and Dormady thus far has done well I say either rotate the two QB's or bring Dormady in and move Dobbs to WR. I realize we are loaded at WR but he's too good an athlete to sit and lacking enough in throwing skills to hold us back. Something needs to change in the passing game...

Are you sure he can't throw? I've only seen him try a couple of times this year so I can't tell.

No, Dobbs gives us the best chance to win. Without his running ability we would have scored like 7 points today.

Dormady would have a rough time behind this OL.

I agree . He hits the ones that are open and he has time. This is not on Dobbs he played hard and made big throws in the fourth quarter.

Dormady needs to get a long look this week in practice. 83 yards passing by your starting qb will not win any games in the sec. We have the recievers, we need to get someone on the field that can get the ball to them.

He threw 17 times tonight hitting 10 for 83 yards

Against Oklahoma he was 13/ 31 for 125 yard , 1 td I int.

Against 2 good defenses he is 23/48 for 208 yards with 1 td and 1 int.

That is not good numbers period. He gets pressured he gets rattled and makes bad throws. To bad he can't throw because he sure can run.

No, this is absolutely not on Dobbs solely. Our angle of pursuit on defense is horrible. Bad angles lead to defenders getting away and missed tackles. The 4th and 14 play for the TD was example #15 of that in that game. Butch not going for 2 up by 12 was the next reason followed by the conservative play calling. Those were the main reasons however with Dobbs not being a deep threat it makes our offense one dimensional and too easy to defend. We lose Hurd for any reason our offense and season is done.

CBJ is in a tough spot. Dobbs has not progressed to SEC caliber, but he's a damn weapon in a game, and he plays his heart out. I agree, throwing Dormandy in the mix would throw off opposing DC's. You could see FL stuffing the line every play. They knew we weren't going to throw.

There was a reason FL kicked the ball deep after scoring their first TD in 4th qtr. They knew TN is a one dimensional team, stop the rin, you stop Tn

We need a passing scheme. Coaches are scheming for Dobbs. It's nice that Dobbs runs well, but we need a passing attack. Dobbs deserves a running position, but not QB.

I thought he looked good on that last minute drive when we had no choice but to pass.

Remember Dobbs was considered a pro style QB when he was a 4 star elite 11 recruit.

This abomination is on Butch Jones and DeBord. Not Dobbs. He played his heart out today given the plays that were called.

Certainly agree. This has been my thoughts since the season beginning.

They do need to take a look at the next QB. With the big hits he's taking you will need Dormady prepared anyway.

The Butch sheep are trying to blame Dobbs. To them I say get a fn clue.

I am not a Butch sheep, it is time for him to go.

Dobbs is a terrible qb. He is a good running qb, that is it. His passing is way below average.

Your heisman candidate passed for 83 yards....
