Oh no not the link. The trash talk directed at one of UT football's greatest living assets. Majors has earned the right to walk away and come back on the field and in coaching. His blood is orange. I am even a person who felt he needed to go way back when but not exiled and he is always allowed back into the fold. He has earned his pass.

here we go again billboy,my post on this thread is not the article.bill battle who was a outsider as a coach had more grace to his departure than majors period.by the way i loved the majors era but not the win/lost record or his last yrs running around drunk all over town and the respect his players didnt have for him.

Anyone here still hold a grudge towards George Levene, or M.B. Banks?

Both those guys sent some pretty nasty telegrams to the weeklies...
They thought they were the big cheese, but ended up getting the bum's rush... poor saps took too many wooden nickels and ended up being hayburners, the both of em.
They really left us holding the bag thanks to their baloney.

It wouldn't shock me.

jewbaccahcahaca,he didnt need to totally walk away like he did period.no he doesnt get a free pass,words like sorry my bad maybe,i love ut no matter what,im a big man that carries huge responsibillity with it and should never turned my back on ut and tarnished this program with my bitterness and oh by the way a outsider named bill battle was a better man than myself p.s. majors put the blame on the one who caused it all.

I have always been a fan of CJM. The man was UT when I was growing up in the '80s. To be honest, I can understand why he would hold a grudge for as long as he did.

no,know some facts on majors first in see what happened and the way he handled it and no no no.he was a tennessee legend period and didnt handle it the way he should have for way to long.by the way i loved majors when i was a kid in 72' when b.battle got canned and never acted like this bs.
