Sark>applewhite

HC experience & a elite recruiter Sark is.

Pruitt needs a OC he can just let be the CEO of the offensive side of the ball.
Doesn’t want to happen what happened last year, having to babysit the O during the game and at practice
For some strange reason I read your 2nd sentence in a Yoda voice, I did.

I have officially reached the point where I just don’t care. We will hire a google coach. THe pumpers will applaud the hire. The negas will call it themselves worst hire in history. And we will be between 5-8 wins next year, never looking dominant and often looking horrid. And 102,455 will pay hard earned money to watch. Fulmer stays on the money train (he just missed out on the REALLY big salaries) Pruitt and his Friends make bank. A couple of Vols are drafted and we are all somehow amazed how they were underutilized at UT. And the stadium expands and so do the administrations’ bank accounts.

This is Tennessee Football.
THIS is the best quote I have read on this forum. You know exactly what is coming. As long as the sheep pay to watch this boondoggle, nothing will change.

I really hope you're wrong, but previous experiences tell me you are correct. I've already cut back on visits to Neyland and have no intentions of going to another game until I see a well-disciplined, good, Relentless football team fielded. I've done my part, I just hope everyone else does the same. Hopefully the donors will cease any further donations until Improvement is obvious. Rant over. LOL

Worst hire Saban ever made. First guy he ever fired at Bama...after ONE season. Pruitt was there. He doesn’t get a call.

He wasn't fired by bama. He left on his own to return to Texas. And he's certainly not the only coach to have left bama on his own.

If you quit Saban’s staff without his approval, does the NCAA require a show cause letter to be issued???

Immediately, if not sooner, we need to hire an O.C. who can turn goat piss into gasoline, and chicken salad into chicken sh!t. Until that time comes, we need better players.

probably announced during coaches convention. no rush, no recruiting taking place. Look for Jan 6-9 for news IMO

It's hilarious that people cannot see the truth in this post and they choose to bash the party instead of accepting it. Honestly the fans need to make a statement and show the university that this piss poor ******** they are allowing to represent them on the field needs to change and until they should expect extremely low attendance.

It's called "red pill thinking" or realism, also described as seeing aspects of life through a crystal-clear lens. A cynic might suggest that the university seriously consider whether including American football in its athletic program is an advantageous long-term strategy; the money will keep on rolling in until one day, maybe not too far off, liabilities exceed assets.
There is nothing "realistic" about that thinking any more than there is about the "kool-aid" thinking.

May God forgive you...

One year into Pruitt's tenure... with no one knowing who the OC will be or whether it will be a good hire... and you make a post like this as a statement of "truth"?

The truth is we don't know whether Pruitt is a good HC or not. We don't know whether they'll hire a good OC or not. We don't know if they'll develop players and improve the program or not. Being biased to the positive or the negative based on assumptions on things we do not and cannot know... isn't "truth" or realism.

He left an OC position to be a RBs coach of his own free will? That’s called SPIN. Coaches that left Bama under Saban either left for a promotion or because they failed...example Applewhite.

I just disagree. Brian doball (misspelled) and sark both left their job as bama oc to make a
lateral move. I'm sure others have left his staff voluntarily as well I'm just unaware of. Saban is a world class jerk. That's not even debatable. Some guys just choose to take the ass chewings (as he proudly calls them) knowing eventually they'll likely land a hc job. Others decide life is too short to be subjected to that type of treatment.

A NFL OC job is not lateral to the college version...what else ya got?

I think it is. If it's a huge step up (to be in he NFL) why won't saban go back? Why would he stay in the minor leagues? It's a lateral move is why. Lol.
Then we’re at a hopeless impasse...because that’s ludicrous. Saban FAILED in the NFL and has dominated in the NCAA. Making $10 mil + per. Not that difficult.

Dumb logic. Programs need to win in order to sustain revenue and funding. Attendance was down last year and I bet it won't be much better next year. If we continue to be unsuccessful then the administration will have to reduce the budget. I fail to believe in the conspiracy theory of the administration milking the fan base with the purpose of not caring that we win or not.

more wins=more exposure=more money
