Madden Next Gen

I'm a little confused about this. I've heard different things about it. The commercial that advertises this has the graphics looking awesome. Bjt some people have said that it's the same thing as madden 06, when i thought it was a new game coming out for the ps3 later down the line. can anyone explain or give their thoughts on the game if the know anything about it?

Most likely it's the same engine, but with better textures and possibly some added graphics on the presentation. No way EA is making 2 versions of the game engine this year. It will just look a little better. You might see an engine overhaul next year, but knowing EA, I wouldn't bet on it.

EA won't do crap to Madden because they don't have to. Buying the license to the NFL is cheaper than actually making your game better.

Not to mention they continue to leave NCAA in the dust.

I am still bitter about EA, but they've got me in a bind -- I have nobody else to turn to if I want to play football games.
