Trade #4
Dallas gets: WR Roydell Williams
Tennessee gets: LB Kevin Burnett

none of these trades were forced and the salary cap is on. My reasoning...

Trade #1: I need somebody else other than Justin Cage to be my #1 WR. I hated giving up Bullock but he's aging a bit, but I'll take losing him if that means I get one of the best WR's in the game

Trade #2: Chris Henry is complete crap. I have a solid defense and wanted just one more playmaker on offense and was willing to give up some draft picks, but I couldn't believe that Oakland also gave me their 2nd round pick. I love my runningback of McFadden, LenWhale, Chris Johnson

Trade #3: Since the salary cap is on, I knew there would be no way I could keep Haynesworth. He's a 98 on the game so I thought he'd be good value for trade bait. Really happy that I got a DT that will probably be better than Haynesworth and is under a long term contract. I got my 1st round pick back, that I traded for McFadden.

Trade #4: With Bullock being dealt, I had a huge hole at LB. So I gave up Williams who was a 79 and picked up Burnett who is a 82 and is so far my leading tackler.

I still felt my LB's were a bit weak so I signed Takeo Spikes to a 2 year deal.

WR: Chad Johnson/Brandon Jones/Justin Cage
TE: Algie Crumpler

defense looks like this...

DE's: Vanden Bosh and Kearse
DT's: Tony Brown and Dorsey
LB's: Spikes, Burnett, Thorton
DB's: Finnigan, Harper, Griffin, Hope

I have a 90 overall, 89 defense and 88 offense. 3-1 on the season so far

Some nice line-ups, but i honestly think that bullock is waaay to good on that defense to give up, or better wording: you should have tried to get johnson for less. Believe me, I know how bad the wr's are, but I wouldn't've given up bullock

also spikes just signed w/ the niners or someone just a few days ago :)....williams for burnett seems like it was a pretty good trade though

one thing that NCAA is better at Madden is the fact in NCAA when a WR makes a catch close to the sidelines, they make sure they have their feet in bounds, whereas Madden doesn't and pisses me off

yeah but does madden call every catch where the receiver turns around and reaches behind them as trapping the ball?....boy that's really starting to piss me off

So, should I get Madden? I've never bought a Madden game. I know gameplay and graphics are better, but I like college football 1000000x more than pro.

is there a way to get the draft classes from ncaa without actually having played ncaa. i know ncaa has the ea locker feature that allows you to upload files from the internet. does madden have this as well?

Unless your receiver decides to make sure he is in bounds 3 yards from actually going out instead of catching the ball and turning up field. Especially on 3rd and short. :mad:

I think im going to go buy this today if they still have copies @ gamestop or walmart... but my xbox live account is down and can't activate it until next week later sometime... so I may just make a new account temporarily if anyone wants to play.

just played a guy using the saints and my game froze. has anybody else's been doing that a lot? i've had it happen twice and it's happened to my opponents twice??? ahhh!

i've used browns some, vikings some, bills some.. mostly vikings and bills

hahahahahahah wow.. just played my first online game.. (first game ever too) and I was the Colts vs. Cowboys... I go down 3-0 pretty quick then down 10-0 when I fumble a punt on my 1 and he takes it in.. then 17-0 when I throw a pick 6.. then 24-0 at the beginning of the 2nd quarter when I throw another pick and he takes a drive in 40ish yards for a rushing TD...

Then I get a PM to Harrison 60 yard bomb with 7 seconds left in the half and the score is 24-7 and I get the ball... so things are looking good.. I get inside the 15 and throw a pick in the endzone and that was about it in the 3rd quarter...

The fourth quarter he gets zero 1st downs and get sacked a bazillion times.. I throw 3 TD passes and have a minute and 15 seconds to spare up 28-24.. he turns it over on downs and quits... dang that was a COMEBACK! It was my fault though.. he sucked I just gave him 21 points.. but it felt good, I had to get used to everything.

I lost a game last night 14-9

I was the vikings, and the guy waited on the panthers, waited til i chose, and switched to patriots... Three different times sidney rice (good hands receiver) dropped balls and they got intercepted, including one with 29 seconds left to seal the game for him.. made me sick

i'm the same way, but Madden is insanely good dude. best Madden game I've ever played

I'm like you...love college football a zillion times better than pro..but Madden is in another league when you campare it to the college football game...it's a good buy.

i stilllll haven't beaten it, after about 5 or so tries..

Eagles/Patriots i pulled out of my butt.. 31-31 and the patriots score on me (brady-moss) and i drove down scored and went for two cuz i had to go help my dad with something and had to hurry, got the 2 pt. conversion :cool:
