Good game this year. Kinda disappointed that they took out pure H2H seasons though. That was one of my favorite parts of the past few games in the series.

Leave for 4 years, come back to see BC & volball going at it, just like old times lol. I'll go away for another 4 years now.

Over the top cheese doesn't really work on all madden. If you're beat you're beat, if a defender is there it's usually defendable. By far the best gameplay ever. If anyone starts up a new online franchise on PSN count me in

Thinking about getting this years madden how much better is this years then last years? What all is different about this years?

Way better. Defense is actually playable against the pass, running mechanics have gotten more realistic and smooth. I recommend it highly.

Best football game I have ever played. Running controls are much better, big backs play like big backs, and small backs play like elusive backs. I'm 8-0 in random ranked matches and a lot of the cheese doesn't work as well this year... Mainly the aggressive catch. When you call the right defenses, the zones work and the man works. Love the defense this year especially with the new gap play and the fact that you can actually set an edge with a good DE or OLB.

I hated the run game and how every time i threw it down the field the WR made a one handed spectacular catch. also it was very easy playing the computer for the most part.

True also I have never really been a random H2H guy, but I have enjoyed playing that as well. Ran into a few who try and chuck it every play, but the new defensive improvements help me be able to shut that down.

Yeah i always used a playaction crossing route and now i only hit it maybe once a game much improved defense.

same thing happened with the cpu last night. they threw a fade from around the 5 and the play-by-play dude just said what a tremendous loss, or something like that, and they were first and ten at their own 20. crazy!

Haven't seen it since. Thought that the patch took care of that. Are you doing this CFM offline? I do know they issued server side fixes and this was one. If you are running your CFM and saving to cloud (online) they can implement the fixes quicker and more often than waiting of patches.

yep, doing it offline. I rarely, if ever, actually play anything online, so I let my membership expire.

What do you'll think of this version of this game? I'm not impressed & haven't been since M25. That's my favorite version & I still have that version today. This is for PS3 of course.

M25 has been out a few years but to me it's the best of them all. Operation Sports has two guys that are still updating rosters for this game. Shows they think the same thing about this version of the game.
