I'm liking this year's game and for the first time in madden history I enjoyed playing defense. No more supersims for me.

I haven't played a Madden in years (like N64 days), but I bought this one since NCAA is dead for the PS4. I want to build a team of mostly Tennessee players, but the salary cap is making that impossible. I mean what Vol fan wouldn't want a team with Witten, Manning, Berry, and Patterson. I guess there is no way of turning the salary cap off or any advice of the easiest way to do this?

You should be able to in the settings for Connected Franchise....or you could always go to the Rosters area and just put all the UT players on one team and then start your franchise.

Basically you pay $10 extra dollars for $40 worth of ultimate team pro packs. They give you 3 packs a week for 10 weeks. Ultimate team is really fun and addicting once you get a decent team.

Interesting, didnt know this. Did you get any other packs? Ultimate edition also comes with a draft pack. You get like 5 first round pick I think. I got Blake Bortles, Sammy Watkins, and some others. I also got CP out of a pro pack :) Interesting his speed rating is higher than Watkins'

I got another free pack. I picked ground and pound as my team identity. Should be interesting. I have never really gotten into ultimate but I am excited. I won't touch head to head seasons until my team gets a lot better lol

Haven't played madden since 10 but picked this one up and so far I'm actually really enjoying it!

I've never done any of that type of game mode (Madden, Fifa, NBA, NCAA) but I think I'm gonna try it out this time with Madden. I'm just so awful at playing sports games online with either the lag delaying up my timing on stuff or maybe because I just suck (lol) but it looks fun.

I also got the Gamestop bonus of 2 free packs for 5 weeks. My overall is a 68 right now. My best players are Brandon Carr (83) and Steven Jackson (80). You earn packs from beating the Trainer Skills challenges too.

My team overall is a 66. Got EJ Manual and Carlose Hyde on offense. Got a few good defenders also. I like how there are a lot of solo challenges. I will get crushed in seasons mode.

Seriously thinking about getting this game. I haven't bought a Madden game in years. Can you do a fantasy draft on the franchise mode?

I believe you can.

I have a feeling I will be playing ultimate team and skills trainer until I get a good slider set. Not that the game has issues, I just want to wait to start my franchise with a good set of sliders.

The most unrealistic thing about the game is penalties... Again. Ive played prolly 10 full 7 min quarter games and had one penalty called. A false start
