madden 13

I'm guessing the physics engine doesn't disappoint then?

There is a little bit of quirkiness after plays but I know there was some more tuning for the retail after the demo was made. Example.......after a run, I get up of the turf and start walking back to the huddle, only to trip and fall over a defender that was still on the ground

Somebody is going to be mad (not naming any names), but the CPU automatically moves LBs back into position whenever you click off of them.

After playing the demo for two games this morning before work, I am even more excited for this game. I know that the demo is an earlier build of the retail, but if it is very close to what the final is, this will be a great game of football. I will have to play a few more games and let the newness wear off before I could accurately judge it, but from what I played this morning, this will be a great game.

Can't wait to download the demo when I get home.

Playing my first game. Freaking love it. Presentation is awesome, graphics are great, and the commentary is a lot better. Love the new physics engine. Can't wait for this and Fifa.

Game looks and plays great. I made a sharp cut back with gore and lossed my footing to fall flat on my face. The run game is like no other i have ever played. Love this game so far.

I don't know. Maybe there's something wrong with me. But I don't think this game plays hugely different than NCAA. Yeah the physics stuff is cool, but I saw about four what the F moments in one demo game. Like, guys tripping over each other when trying to return a fumble recovery, Eli Manning just flying five yards to the side when bumped into by his OL. Really weird stuff.

Really like the new run game. It's alot of fun to truck guys with the big back and it actually matter.

Played one game on pro difficulty. Really like the presentation and how the game plays. Very excited for the release of this game.

Kinda felt the same way.

I honestly wasn't expecting the game to play that much different than NCAA. In looking at both the game's gameplay additions, they are the same. Except Madden got Infinity engine , which IMO, isn't that crazy of a difference in terms of its impact on gameplay.

The physics are definitely neat, but only up to a point. They're fun, and there were times in my playthrough earlier where they made a certain hit or tackle look awesome, but more often they came across as goofy and clunky looking. I'm sure the game will be alot more polished than the demo, though, as is usually the case.

When you bring the tackle slider down a bit, it greatly helps some of those "collisions" that seem to look a bit weird with the new physics.

I haven't really experienced any funky collisions, the CPU does seem to fumble quite a bit. I bet I caused 6-8 fumbles in my first two games. Also the commentary is effed

They made RG3 crazy good in the demo. I scored easily on the first drive. And what's up with the Redskins' helmets? Are those retros or the default ones? They look terrible.

I would just want to do Be a Pro within a connected career mode. With said... do you just select a team or do you get drafted by the remaining cpu controlled teams?

I think you can choose either or. Also you will be able to choose different backstories.....like a highly talented high pick, with more expectations and seasonal goals to earn XP, or a last round pick with lower expectations and beginning ratings, but lower seasonal goals to step into a starting role down the road. There are backstories in between that and I think they cover some in the manual that I posted. One other thing that I am seeing from some of the gamechanger guys from their retail versions of the game is that the Infinity is tightened up a bit, but you still have some of those quirky moments with the engine.

Besides everyone looking like they hung out with Kenny Britt the night before when going back to the huddle, this game is freakin' awesome.

I haven't purchased a football game since 07 - will probably buy this one.

Im afraid that we might be stuck with it this year for year 1 of the new physics engine. Some people might want to pass on it this year, especially if you arent a big fan of Madden. They are already working on the year 2 version of the Infinity for Madden 14 and have also said that they are addressing OL/DL play as well as better running animations. M13 is a big step in the right direction...........from what I have seen.

The connected career just sounds so awesome. Can't wait to play it.

After playing the demo I will probably pass on Madden this year. I understand that it is not the final release version but I wasn't impressed. However, I am not a huge NFL fan anyway... May rent it after release and give it another chance.
