The sad part is all the money we have paid these terrible coaches over the years could've easily hired a top guy and had a winning program today. Now were in such a shape that no top guy wants to be here for any amount of money. Still we have to try and get someone to turn this around it may cost 7 million a year but we have to do it or give up football.

I’m just irritated at this point. It blows my mind that we can’t even be competitive but there are teams like UCF having far better success than we are and are no where near as talented as us on paper.

Exactly, and UCF doesn't spend anywhere near as much on their football program as UT.

I think we have finally gone into the death spiral which is fan apathy. There are a few people that will still rant and rave but most fans seem to be resigned to where we are. We are irrelevant in the world of college football. People, around the country are still interested in what we do but that won't last much longer. We play like we're an FCS team that has a giant stadium. We are the new Vanderbilt without the academic reputation. It's sad but most of us just can't get that worked up over the same old thing for 15 years. I would never cheer for another team but I could see myself not obsessing over UT football every Saturday either. Why spoil every Saturday?

Same here. But one of my expectations was being competitive. Not for the moral victories. But to witness the development needed in yr 3+. Ain't seent it yet.

When does basketball season start? I could careless about this football team right now. Pruitt is a disgrace to the coaching profession. Forget X’s and O’s, he is just a poor example of a leader. Would you want him teaching your son? There is no “fight” in the team. They are completely apathetic. He obviously can’t motivate them because they don’t respect him. They see JP as a loser. Which he is! As demonstrated by the “team” he puts on the field. The only way to get better is to fire Pruitt. Take the bullet now. The only way to get Pruitt fired is to demonstrate it with your $. #emptyneyland
