Gotta be numb at this point...
Glad I didn't spend any money on UT shirts for Saturday
I'm about to go band wagon some other team...the frustration with this crap every Saturday is becoming too much

The program is at the point where the only positive thing about it is being able to point at Neyland Stadium and say, "The Vols play some pretty good teams in there."

I wanted my son to love UT football like me. He's 12 and as I said in the other thread, he no longer watches the game with me.
I don't think I can stomach the next five weeks.
I told my wife she had to plan fall Saturdays around UT football. I may need to step away for awhile.
For the first time in my 44 yrs, I will probably plan to be doing something during the games rather than planning on watching the game.

I hate losing hope.

UT has followed every firing by not hiring the best. So I'm willing to give Pruitt another year. Just tired.

It's beautiful in Chattanooga today. Sitting on the deck smoking a cigar. I have a beautiful family so I'm blessed.

It’s been 36 years since the last season I didn’t make at least one game in Knoxville. I’m not wasting another dime of my hard earned money on Tennessee football until this crap show is over.

Im not just numb, I laugh sometimes because the vols somehow find ways to amaze me in losses. (Not making fun of them, but in the "I cant believe this is possible" insanity laugh)

Also conflicted. Defense continues to look better every week. With a good recruiting haul this class, I could see this being an elite defense in 2020 or 2021.

Offense is just awful. And it's not that there isn't talent. It's that no one on that offense looks in sync.

This reminds me of 2005 ... only worse.

Front and center for this definitive statement. Walked out in 3rd saying it was the worst Vols team I ever saw take the field against FL. Now planning menu for GA ND 873F8A97-7491-4DA2-B86D-89528D63863D.jpeg

When you read this Board, you come away with no real answers and torn as to what should be done. Other schools get new coaches all the time and don't go off a cliff in a flaming wreck and blow up at the bottom; why did we?

Other coaches get real results in year 1 and 2; why don't we?

If he has a team that SUCKS, why doesn't he just come out and say so and tell us how long to give him? If that time frame is acceptable, we wait. If not, he is fired. And why do we play the 'buy-out' game? He had NO record of success. How many of YOU on this Board have a 'buy-out' contact to get paid if you SUCK at your job? I sure don't!!!
