Mack Crowder faces child sex charges in FL

It's funny when a good looking woman teacher is caught having sex with a student guys say **** like "I wish that happened to me when I was 14". ****ing country is backwards calling bad good and good bad. The **** is wrong with people. What those teachers did is no ****ing different than what Crowder done.

I hate rapists and child molesters as much as the next right minded person, but by god you don't see people clamoring for the castration (or female equivalent whatever) of these women.

There's a YouTube video - I'll see if I can find it - of a law professor giving a lecture where he basically says never talk to the police even if you're 100% innocent because of the ways the police can take what you say and flip it against you.

You never, ever, ever speak to law enforcement without an attorney present. For any reason, guilty or innocent.

Never.

Ever.

Fwiw, Crowder has earned his degree and was on the SEC Academic Honor Roll each of the last two years and his UT bio states that he is "an active member of FCA". :shakehead:

The law states "innocent until proven guilty" and it is a sad day when so many have convicted a man before he has had a chance to stand trial before a jury of his peers.

If the allegations are proven to be false or if he was entrapped by the Florida police and he is found not guilty what would you say then? I'm not defending anyone because if he is guilty then he needs to be punished, but Crowder has a right to a trial and should be presumed to be innocent until he is proven guilty beyond a shadow of a doubt. That is the way the law works in this country regardless of social media outrage.

Give me a break with the sad day lamenting. An informed and reasonable opinion can be made that he broke some laws based on the information that exists.

Pretty sure the reports have said he has admitted to knowingly communicating with a 14 year old, now he may lawyer up and redact the statement or try to get off on some sort of technicality but as a father I hope he never sees the light of day. Those who knowingly hurt children disgust me.

A true justice system wouldn't need to keep score and would play by the rules

There are several justice systems in America. One for the rich, poor, blacks and whites. I know a guy that robbed and killed a guy. He did less than 5 years. They were both black. Another guy robbed a woman and shot her and he did 20 years. She survived. He is black, and she was white. True justice is consistent. In a true justice system you would do more time for murder, not drugs. America has a legal system.
