M. Griffiths thinks Hurd should return

What was the ACTUAL insult towards Kamara?(haven't heard any about other players) She hinted about a reason he was the backup, but there was no torrent of insults to stifle.

Late to the party, but my theory is there may have been some issue with Kamara in the S&C program. Insiders and the staff at 247 as well as VQ have all confirmed that there were issues with team leaders (specifically at least one unnamed captain) not putting in the work off the field and setting the example the coaches had hoped for.

That, paired with some of the quotes from the Haney article about "making guys captain who don't deserve it" kind of make me think that Kamara may have been the one they all were talking about. Hard to imagine JRM, Sutton, or Dobbs being the one who hadn't earned permanent captain status by that point.

Of course this is all speculation at this point.

But if Kamara wasn't as working as hard as he should've been outside the gridiron, then that would explain part of why he wasn't seeing the field as much as his talent would seem to dictate.

Bottom line is Hurd's mom was doing her son no favors by making comments against one of his former teammates. Especially with him trying to find a place to play. GBO!!!!

Totally agree. Should've just kept her mouth shut. No argument there.

But I do think there was probably SOME factor to Kamara seeing the field so little that most of us don't know about.

And I think some of the smoke we've heard from bear writers and insiders seems to suggest that as well.

May or may not be true, but Hurd's mother was the last person that should be saying a word. GBO!!!

Crazy -- someone paid 80 bucks each for these (and 2 were sold from the same seller) On March 30th http://www.ebay.com/itm/JALEN-HURD-...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

i do not see how that happens. but it would not be the end of the world. there is a lot of talent on the team. we should be good at Q.B. and W.R. if there is a problem it will be lack of talent at R.B. and line backers. Kelly is the only R.B. that has played much. he can not catch the ball very well out of the backfield an he fumbles. i think Jones knows there is a real problem there and created the story in the press. if Hurd wanted to come back Jones would be ringing church bells. he would be welcomed with open arms. bet on it. the problem is Hurd is smart. R.B. get there brains bet out in the NFL. They do not get payed that much more for the pain. a good T.E. makes the same money. you can not blame him for that.

You must have not heard about Hurd's mother insulting Kamara on twitter the day of the pro combine with the following remark. She stated on twitter that "the NFL" will soon find out why he was the backup referring to Kamara. Yeah that is a wise thing too say if your son was ever even considering trying to get back on the team. It was all over the internet for days, I don't know how you missed it. And too top it off Kamara had just logged in a great day at the combine, she put it out there for the world too see. GBO!!!!!

She should ask Texas A&M the question of if they think he should have been the back up after he ran up and down the field on them. Bashing Kamara looks exactly like what it is, sour grapes.

If he had a questionable work ethic, why would Butch make him captain instead of Hurd?

HE HAD HIS CHANCE AND BLEW IT!!!! He even blew it for the worst reason. He thought everything was about him and not the team. He cost his team big time. Sorry
