Lynn Bowden still got to play

Does anyone have any info on how Lynn Bowden, can punch someone in the face, shove an assistant coach, and somehow still get to play. I guess I don’t really give a ish, just wondering. I mean we do have a receiver sitting the first half for something that “might have happened” vs that crap.

It apparently happened before the officials were on the field therefore no one was there to witness it and so no penalty.

Officials have no control over that until they are on the field at the same time to witness it. Usually something that happens an hour and 10 mins before kickoff just slides.

That is my point. If I was coach I would have made it a point to sit him. There just seems to be zero consistency in some of this crap.

Correct me if I’m wrong but the refs aren’t the ones who disciplined Jennings. It was the SEC Office after the fact.

What’s funny is Kentucky fans were saying Jennings should be criminally charged for what he did, but I’m willing to bet they all back their own player and think he did nothing wrong. That’s why I hate Kentucky fans, they always put UT down and call us thugs and criminals not realizing there guys are no different. Such a double standard those clowns have.

They said something like it was over an hour before game time. Had it been less he probaly would of not got to play. Something like that. I can't remember the exact thing they said. Probaly because the officals were not on the field yet.

Since bowden is leaving for the draft, the NCAA can't do anything to him..wonder if anything comes out of this...
