Lupoi for DL coach?

He'll need a position coach at the end of the year, and Lupoi wouldn't be available until then anyway, so it still makes sense.

Maybe CJP should have demoted Brumbaugh and kept him on staff until the end of the year. We will owe him around $830k unless he gets another gig. How many teams are looking for a recently fired line coach not quite halfway through the season? Why pay him for nothing.

We've been paying Will Friend and Chris Weinke for nothing the past 3 years...

Has more time to land a gig.

I re-watched the Kentucky game last night. The commentator was saying Pruitt was very unhappy with his D-line play. I did not catch that live.

If Tennessee can put something together I would welcome his coaching and recruiting but something tells me he and Charlie will be together at Bama considering the D isnt anything close to what it usually is

Unless he was talking about the players then ...

We see what a five star defense looks like....UGA and Bama. I’m all for a great recruiter on defense. John Chavis recruited some awesome lineman.
He did? I thought recruiting wasn't his strong point, like third and long, Florida, LSU...Well you get the picture...:p

Not shocked that a guy who doesn’t know what asparagus is doesn’t know the difference between the D-line and the O-line.

Need to be careful about basing recruiting prowess off of what someone did at Bama. They work on a different set of rules than everybody else. Look at the 247 recruiter rankings, it’s always Bama guys in the top 5 that aren’t even on the radar before and after they are there.

No doubt Tosh can recruit but I doubt he rains 5-stars like he did at Bama.
