I'd still be willing to wager that Lundquist finds a way to work a Tim Tebow reference into the broadcast.

I am old enough to remember when Billy Packer announced putt-putt golf. (No kidding). "The golfer by the windmill has to step it up"

I'd listen to Gus Johnson call a game of checkers...that guy is brilliant at what he does.

absolutely, the fact that he got snubbed out of the sweet 16 and elite 8 games last year in place of James Brown was a travesty.

Can you imagine Bert B. on a network doing a UT game? He would be the second coming of Dukie V but only he will admit his bias.

He is quickly becoming my basketball version of Ward for the radio. I will put up with Kessling just to hear Bert get fired up over a bad call against UT and then when someone goes 1-10 shooting but that one is called "Money" by Bert. Classic.

My above comment about comparing Bert to Ward is only in entertainment value of listening to a game on the radio. In no way is he in the same league as John Ward overall.

I just wanted to be clear on that.

I can just hear it:
"He's money, Verne!" :)

"Lewis for three..... GOT IT!!" Gus Johnson is one of the best there is in today's game.

Bert and his "MONEY!!!!!" call got some love on Sportscenter Saturday morning when the Lofton 3 was in the top 10
