Says UT/UCLA/Memphis could lose 1 seed if Duke beats UNC in the ACC tourney and UT/UCLA/Memphis don't win theirs

UNC
Duke
UT/UCLA/Memphis fighting for the other 2 slots

I don't see how Duke loses to who they lost to and gains a 1 seed...

I wouldn't be surprised to see Duke lose before the finals of the ACC tournament.

If we actually go out and play, and dont "rest up" for the NCAA's(which I dont think Pearl will do) then we have a really good shot at winning the SEC Tourney...

Why he thinks UCLA(who was one illegal shot away from losing), Duke(who lost to Miami, and UNC recently), and Memphis(who we BEAT, at their place), should be ahead of us...I dont know...

I didn't see the game, but someone said that the Stanford game was under a cloud as well..

It was. A Stanford player got all ball on a block of Collison but the refs called a foul with a few seconds to go and he hit the ft's to take it into overtime and UCLA won

UCLA was given another gift at the end of the Stanford game....the refs called a foul at the end of the game...UCLA made the free throws to win...on replay…..it was clearly not a foul…..even the UCLA guy said it was a clean block...the Stanford defender got all ball.

I was actually more surprised by the comments right before Lunardi came on when they compared this UNC/Duke game to UT/Mem. Said the UNC/Duke game was a well-played game while ours looked like "it should have been played with trees on the sidelines" (playground reference). They basically just laughed at the game comparison throughout the segment

I think the concern is that Kansas could take our #1 seed. I think that there are 5 teams fighting for the #1 seeds. I think Duke and Texas will be #2 seeds.

#1 Contenders:
Tennessee
UNC
UCLA
Memphis
Kansas

neither of the espn crew's idols can beat Memphis on a neutral floor with neutral officiating. neither plays enough d to play consitently with the best in the land. Duke as a 1 is comparable to Vandy as a 2.

Duke hasn't shown me anything that says they're deserving of a one seed. Duke is tennessee light if you ask me. Our bigs would own duke in the paint and thats not saying much.

UNC and Memphis will get one seeds. So I guess it is between UT, Duke, UCLA, Kansas, and Texas.

I don't think both Kansas and Texas will get one. There are 2 bids up for grabs. If UT wins out, they will definitely get one.

Dear God, I saw Lunardi on ESPN HD this morning, and his teeth looked like a color mixture of butter and wood. Someone please buy him some whitening toothpaste or Crest strips.

That's because Vitale is always on his knees in front of Coach Kryz1wfhbowbekfbkjhboqwbvolwkjhbelkbgfkbhksi nodding in agreement.

It's simple. Just win the SEC tourney and we have it. No arguments, no questions. We have total control and therefore can't complain if we lose and don't get the #1 seed.

That being said, we deserve it regardless.

I think UNC, Memphis High, and UCLA are going to be 1 seeds. The fourth is between TN and Kansas with TN having the upper hand unless we go 1 and done in the SEC Tourney.

I don't think there's any way Duke is going to get a #1 seed. I think as long as TN makes it to the semi finals, they will get a #1 seed. The seeding is not based on the conference tourney results, but the entire season. They are supposed to be putting an emphasis on the last 10 games this year, but TN has played great all year and deserves a #1 seed.

If Dook gets a #1 seed in the AA's somebody just needs to fire all the dudes in the little room and start over.

It's currently UNC, Tennessee, Memphis, and UCLA in that order. Kansas won't get it, they have one top 25 win, over #24 Oklahoma. Texas could get in, they have wins over Tennessee, Kansas and UCLA. Duke is on the outside looking in, only way we don't get one is Duke and Carolina play in the ACC final and Duke wins, Texas and UCLA both win their tournaments and we flame out early in the SEC tournament.
