Lucas Taylor?

We've seen where handing a position to a player gets a team. The best players should play regardless of class, and Taylor has shown to be one of the two best on the roster.

I don't grade players on how they produce in the small time games. I say him against Florida last year with Ainge. Against Bama with Ainge. He should have done somethin significant to at least give us a spark. Plus he got run down from behind by UAB. He's an OK player by Tennessee standards. Would be a fine MAC or WAC receiver.

I thought he looked great against UCLA, he catches everything thown to him(well, that can be caught), and I thought he looked a step faster than the year before.....

No..he'd be a GREAT OVC/SWAC/Southern Conf receiver. WAC...decent as well as UT!

Don't anyone give me the 70 recpts for 1000 yrds last year. He is NOT a game breaker. He is good, but not great. UT has had 30 WR's in the past that are head and shoulders better!

He was a product of the Cutcliffe system by far. I say that because his luster is gone and he's been exposed.

I still think EJ Abrams-Ward needs to see the field soon...He is a monster and from whit I hear is catching on quick in practice and is going to be a force at WR being 6-4 210...He can be the WR needed to make the bad matchup that could help us as a team!

what does that mean?

This is a prime example of why you're a feared poster.

That he wouldn't survive in another system as it is being proven. He couldn't go and play for any team and fit in their system like receivers in our past years. You can say what you want but I bring more to table than you.:zeitung_lesen:

I was asking about the 'by far' add. What the hell did it mean to the statement?

It's abundantly clear that English is your second or third language, but at least try. I don't care if you're the next coming of Halas, you look stupid trying to sound smart.

I explained by far for you in saying HE WOULDN'T SURVIVE OUTSIDE OF THE CUTCLIFFE SYSTEM.[/B] Wow I guess you missed that while you were looking for something wrong. Jealousy is a bad trait to have.

I never made a single comment until asking you about your broken English. Again, what did by far mean?

One doesn't have to look to recognize pathetic English.

Admittedly, I am jealous, but it stops at your overwhelming football knowledge. Your broken English doesn't do anything for me.

By far means that he is not that good of a player when not in a structured system. Is that good enough for you.:hi:

Whoa wow by far should have been in the beginning of the statement. But I didn't know I was in English Class either it's not that serious.
by far has no business in the statement anywhere. By far is a comparative term and you have nothing there being compared. It's not very hard.

Some of the WR production is down because our QB couldn't hit the broad side of a barn for the first 3 games of the season. I'm not saying Taylor is a first round NFL draft pick, but you cannot fault him for being on the field with a guy who cannot throw the ball. Also, every WR drops passes periodically, and while he should have caught the pass from Gerald it was a high ball on what was apparently a screen play.
