Its getting ridiculous. I know he had a 1000 yards last year but he just doesn't produce in big games. He needs to be our third receiver. We have got to start D. Moore and G.Jones. Its just a matter of getting the best players on the field. Ahmad Paige also needs a shot.

...Nobody really produced too terribly much in that game.

I know you hate Lucas Taylor, and i'm not saying he did anything vs UF, but neither did anybody else.

I've been far more impressed with Gerald Jones than I have any other singular member of the Offense.

Sadly, the CBS crew said it best: "Number 4 for UT is the only player that is dynamic and a threat like most of UFs players are on offense"

And that's the truth. Taylor might be acceptable, but he's no threat.

Good point. I'm willing to bet a healthy does of Ahmad Paige would have had the Gator defense stymied. UT would have easily prevailed.

you can't say the recievers didn't do anything. hell we have Crapton as the qb, he can't get the ball to them. Lucas is a good player.

Easier to throw to receivers that get separation.

Do you even watch what goes on during a game or do you just look at the QB the whole time until the ball gets out of his hand, at which point you've already missed half of what has happened.

Why is it you think that Moore or Paige can barely crack the rotation, let alone "start"?

Think about this before responding.

For every time you think you don't see separation, I can show you two times where Crompton doesn't even LOOK at the wide open receiver that is his 2nd or 3rd option.

I never excused crompton. But if we can't stretch the field its not hard to cover the underneath routes.

taylor was open several plays but crompton cant check off his recievers

He doesn't demand the ball. His persona doesn't demand the ball. G. Jones has a vibe coming off him that oozes get him the ball. I heard the sportscaster say C. Rainey would be one of top receivers. Its sad to say but he would. And he's third string on the Gators.
