I have had my hackle up ever since JK drew a 15 yard penalty for doing the gator chomp after a touchdown. I thought that was a penalty gone too far. Since then I have watched several games where players didn't get called for arguably worse "taunting". However, the LSU game took the cake. The sideline antics were one thing (riding an imaginary hobbyhorse? - really?). But, the worse thing was the undulating linemen at the line of scrimmage. Now, granted, LSU may feel new to being on the good side of dominance, but, really - act like you're used to winning.

What’s an “undulating lineman”?

I agree. I thought they showed zero class but i thought it might have just been my bitterness.

OP, if you're an opposing player you can't mimic the home team's cheer/chant in front of those fans. That's basically the rule. The problem is UT doesn't have anything like the Gator Chomp to compare it to.

I'm not sure of the move you're referring to in the LSU game.

Except we have seen many visiting players in the swamp do the chomp and not get called...

Just run into the endzone, toss the ball to the official, and head to the bench for the next series. That's your job. Kelly got another 15 yarder v Mizzou for acting out. If these players would quit acting like attention whores then no flags would fly at all.

That was one thing that shocked (and scared me) about UGA's butt whipping of us. They were having big play after big play after big play. But they would just toss the ball to the ref celebrate as a team and go to the sidelines. If Kirby Smart has developed that sort of discipline with that team, then we are in a world of hurt.

Has anyone defined undulating linemen yet? I know OP probably started drinking early like the rest of America, but what does that even mean? Is he trying to say they taunted our linemen, like saying come get some? Cause... uh... that's football.

Or do they just not get flagged when they do it?

What’s an “undulating lineman”?

In the second half, when the wheels were falling off and LSU linemen were easily getting into the secondary, a couple of their linemen were swiveling their hips (undulating) as were getting set. If you it, then, that's your thing. I thought it was taunt-worthy.

Exactly!! Can’t STAND when our players get unnecessary penalties for stupid stuff that they know is not allowed!! I HOPE the next coach doesn’t put up with it!

Cordarrelle Patterson used to High Step into the endzone and they would call the touchdown back. However even Dooley was not stupid enough to kick him off the team for it.
