The fans are the cause of the laughing. We built up this false reality where Gruden had already agreed to be our coach. Hart and the athletic department can't be held responsible for the crazies that scream the loudest in the asylum.

Dave Hart did not put 150,000+ posts on VN.

That is what is making us a laughing stock.
Part or those post were mine.

I guarantee yo Hart is not the only AD not able to hire Gruden . Fans going berserk on a message board was not caused by Hart.

No, I agree with all of y'all. My biggest thing is why let it drag out for a few weeks like they did? They had to know with our fan base that it would crescendo out of control. Just wish something was said sooner, officially, to dispel the rumors and place the focus of the search where it should be. Any hire will be a bad hire to some of these people now and that's not healthy.

I guess all the NFL analyst and newspaper reporters were the OGs on VN too.... theres more to tgis story. The world may never know. It would have never reached more than in program speculation had there not been credible outside sources dropping nuggets
