LSU has suspended JT Lindsey until the accessory charges against him are resolved, The Advocate’s Wilson Alexander reported. Lindsey turned himself in to police Friday.

Lindsey is facing two felony counts of accessory after the fact to second-degree murder, his attorney told WAFB-TV in Baton Rouge. The true freshman turned himself into university police Friday afternoon and was booked just after 4 p.m. local time

Garrett Nussmeier injury update: Brian Kelly reveals diagnosis for LSU QB

Per Brian Kelly, Nussmeier has tendinitis in the patella of his knee. It’s worth mentioning, especially for transparency’s sake, but isn’t something the team sounds to be concerned about to this point.

Catching charges attached to a murder as a college freshman is wild.
When they arrest guys with potential murder cases and multiple weapons in your dorm room, I'd say it's hard to put a "let's see how this goes" spin on things. If ballistics links those weapons to a murder, he's screwed.

That leaves them with 3 scholarship rb's at this time, and the starter is not a big guy. They say they want to get more rushing production, so their plan is to install the wildcat, and other times run Nussmeier more. All this behind OL rebuild. 🤔

Nussmeier was limping last week. But LSU says they want run him MORE this season. Behind him they got diddly squat at Qb. 🤔

Kelly already had Nuss throwing 40+ times a game last year, sometimes 50+. They were so predictable that teams just dropped 4 or 5 and dared LSU to run the ball.

Without a solid RB, they will be in hot water. I believe Nuss could be the breakout QB of this class if he had the correct pieces around him, but Kelly will run him into the ground if Nuss is going to run the ball. He isn't that fast or elusive, and if he is already starting the season hobbling, then it does not bode well.

Don't know much about Michael Van Buren but seems he's having a solid camp but you're right no proven QBs behind GN

No. 1: The Garrett Nussmeier and Barion Brown Connection

When Nussmeier needs a deep shot, it's been Kentucky transfer Barion Brown that has been the go-to wideout during live action.

On Monday, Nussmeier and Brown connected for a 30-yard touchdown reception with cornerback Ashton Stamps in coverage.

The one-two punch between Nussmeier and Brown has been one to keep tabs on during camp with the vertical threat showcasing his elite speed in practice.

Brown's so underrated. Kentucky's whole WR corps last year with Brown, Key, and Macklin was so underrated and incredible.

Difference in LSU camp reporting vs. UT. Our guys give the entire numbers, as far as they know "12 out of 15." Baton Rouge press just cherry-picks out the best plays they saw, one good bomb to Brown. Not Nuss's pick last week, nor his a sack that left him limping, nor TE Green's drops nor that 2 out of top 4 WRs been out with injuries (both Andersons).

Yes, talented ... yet he left.

Kelly has a history of bringing in bad apples.

I can't blame him or Dane Key for leaving Kentucky when the starting QB could only throw for 10 TDs with the weapons Kentucky had. They needed new coaches, new offensive coordinators, and new quarterbacks (and not Calzada).

Lsu fan's post in answer to another fan saying Lindsey should be dismissed. This takes fandom too far.. Having guns in a gun free zone and harboring criminals....

Forget the accessory charges, whether he knew they were murders or not he allowed guns to be in his dorm room of a Public university. That is automatic expulsion right there but we will see.
