LSU vs UF (7 PM, SEC Network)

Just like the 2004 game in Neyland, missed extra point followed by 50 yard field goal for the win.

Love seeing gators lose.

Well almost. Wilhoit's case was more that he shanked the extra point with less than 3 minutes in the game and got another chance; he went from being the goat responsible for the loss to the game's hero.

If UF won, the LSU kicker wasn't going to be blamed for the loss here.

Anyone else feel if it were UT they don't stop the clock and it runs out? That is the kind of crap that happens to us.

If we're the team on defense and doing that, though, I promise our fans would be arguing about some rule that says the clock should still keep running in that case.

OT?

Yeah, not sure what the problem is with that. Any ref worth his merit stops the game there or throws the flag. Congrats on the loss by the way, pretty celebratory I'd say.

Two Driskel turnovers lead directly to 14 LSU points.

He's the worst UF QB in my lifetime, and that includes Donald Douglas and Larry Ochab.

That, too.

But I'm saying if either UF had scored a TD on that drive inside the 2, or if UF had won in overtime, fans weren't going to be blaming the kicker for the loss...especially since a whole quarter's worth of scores had happened after (a kickoff return, a deep pass to the 2...lots of stuff) that would have cost them the game.

(Also, had he made it originally, UF would have had to go for it on 4th down from the 1, might have scored a TD, and possibly won this one.)

It's great that Florida lost tonight and they can lose another to FSU but I don't want them to be worse than 8-3. That pretty much assures that Muschamp stays and it keeps Dan Mullen away as well.

I'm glad you remember so many bad past players for your team that fans of most other teams would have forgotten about.

Seriously, that takes some skill.

It's very difficult to move QBs (good and bad) from your memory bank. I can remember the Nick Stephens era just as well as I can Clausen.
