LSU vs Texas A&M

My goodness. LSU did not get robbed.

Ok the fourth and 18 in regulation, the ball was on the Aggie 39 yard line. Mond completed it to the LSU 41 yard line. That’s a 20 yard completion. The yellow line on the TV was wrong.

On the PI to Greedy Williams, LSU was offsides. Not called.

A&M made more plays. LSU didn’t. Scoreboard.

If anything, the refs would have been trying to give the game to the higher ranked team.

When he spiked that ball the clock was at zero when the ball hit the ground right

They should of never got that one second from what I could tell didn’t see the game tho so I missed all the reviews and what not

Then call offsides; the PI call was wrong. And it's not like they knew they blew the offsides so they decided to make it up by calling DPI.

I have never seen a message board so upset with the officiating as Tiger droppings is right now. It's pretty much every thread. Most of the complaints start with the spot of the ball on 4th and 18 in regulation... they may have a point with that one.

Watch the video. Went from the Aggie 39 to Tiger 41, or 20 yards. The yellow line was wrong.

It appears you are correct. The yellow line should have been on the 43. That explains why such an important and close call was not reviewed.

Unless they were trying to build their case to skip OSU up from 10 to 5 or even 4.

Regarding the fight during the post-game: The young man in the red shirt who reportedly punched LSU analyst Steve Kragthorpe (who has Parkinson's and a pacemaker) is being identified as Jimbo's nephew.

Yes, I'm sure giving TAM only getting 3 penalties in a 75-85 minute game is normal in favor of LSU LOL There was literally 3-4 calls (or non-calls) down the end of the game that made it that far, the game should have been over 90 minutes before hand in the first OT as TAM clearly fumbled the ball. The 1 second was questionable, as was the illegal formation on the spike as well, as was the players not set. I didn't see anything wrong with the 1st down completion, everything else... not good. You basically have three calls on the spike play that went in TAM's favor.

I'm actually usually on the other side of things on like the PI call... towards the end of the game especially when it matters... they normally let the players play...which to me is wrong, but in the case of Greedy that is just normal hand fighting.... even if it was PI.... its a huge judgment as to whether it was catchable..... not sure what you mean by LSU being offsides... I'm watching it right now... nobody jumped and it doesn't look like anyone is lined up offsides… that would have sent it to OT8. On the spike there could have been two penalties on TAM and possibly no time left. LSU actually had almost as many penalties TAM had in the whole game on one play. TAM could have possibly had two penalties on the spiked ball. The players are not even set until less then 2 seconds on the clock... so its either a penalty or there is no way to put the 1 second back on the clock.

Its been like this for about 10 years, I don't expect anything to ever change..... its actually been worse since they got video replay, how is that possible?

Its no disrespect to TAM as they played hard but this shouldn't have gone into OT and definitely should have been over in OT1.

- QB knee being down for the INT (questionable)… probably shouldn't have been reversed but its close, ruling on the field INT.... would have been game over.
- Spike ball, could have easily been two penalties on TAM (either time expired or there was a penalty as players have to be set for 1 second and possible illegal formation)... game over.
- Fumble in OT1.... game over.... this was clearly the worse call of the bunch... not sure it was even reviewed... game over again
- PI on Greedy on a borderline bad call, with the ball probably not catchable... would have sent it to OT8

The above is just the last 1 minute of regulation and the OTs. Basically all the questionable and non-questionable calls went in TAMs favor... if that is not a fumble, I'm not sure what sport they were playing.

LOL, yeah, that’s why the LSU writer above stated only one call was at best “questionable”.
