Chambliss isn’t just a backup though. I live near and am a fan of Valdosta St football in division 2. Last year I watched Chambliss dominate a really good Blazer defense in the division 2 national championship. I think he was responsible for 5 touchdowns for Ferris St. against IMO a favored VSU team. Dude is the real deal, and IMO he is just better than Simmons.

Correct. Simmons has the financial investment from the program but Chambliss is overwhelmingly the better QB for Kiffin. I imagine Simmons won’t mind getting the bag and being the back up lol

Absolutely, and he is a sophomore I think. So he can sit back, learn, collect money, and look to a promising future.

LSU is back to the Les Miles era at best with Kelly at the helm. Saying that, I think Kelly sucks but, coaching at LSU since Saban built them up is easy to do.
