I didn't closely follow the selection process, but how did 10-2, #8 LSU get stuck playing tonight while a lower ranked SC team and a four loss Miss St. team ended up in the better games tomorrow? I've heard that in the past UT got passed over by the better NYD bowls and got relegated to playing the CFA bowl because of a lack of ticket presales. I wonder if the same thing happened to LSU.

Man, it would suck to be a Clemson fan right now. You pay good money and take time off from work to come see a good bowl game and one of your best players is hurt on the first play from scrimmage. Goodness.
