They said he banged knee with an opposing player’s knee. He was trying to get flexibility by riding bike on sideline but was still limping. Once we was taken out, he didn’t return.

That guy, "did this" (climbed a scissor lift) rather than forfeit his job and it cost him his life

If my boss gives me a choice with either option being unfavorable, I’m gonna take less unfavorable option. Even more so, the more safe less favorable option if there is a safety risk…. It doesn’t matter if my boss is a dick. I still make the choice…. My boss isn’t putting a gun to my head and saying i can do this or that but he prefers me to pick this over that.

Giving someone a choice or option to consent is not “forcing” someone to do something against their will…… probably why nothing came of it in criminal court.

And yes. I’ve had my fare share of scissor lift experiences….. i also know there were times i wouldn’t operate it for various factors. Regardless of what my boss said or insisted.

I truly don’t understand why people are treating this like it was some kid being forced and pushed around. Last i checked, he wasn’t a minor.
