When my wife and I went in 2010, we parked on the east side and were to meet the friend (LSU player's parent) who had our tickets at a tailgate somewhere on the west side of the stadium. After being called Tigah Bait for about the 5th time, as we were passing tailgates, we ask for directions to the lot. One of the female tailgaters volunteered to escort us, asking us questions the entire time, and as we passed each tailgates she'd join in with the chant, periodically we'd stop for her to chat with a tailgate, and they'd invite us to come back and join them if we couldn't find our tailgate and a couple even offered tickets if we couldn't find them.
Everybody has crappy fans, and everybody has great fans, you just have to look.
If at all possible get invited to a tailgate, and if you don't know anybody, come back in the fall and you can probably find someone to get an invite.

LSU games are the best. The most fun at a football game you can have. I have been to a bunch of their games (whole family from Louisiana)....and you are in for a wonderful treat. UT - and everyone else in the country- could learn a lot from them about throwing a tailgate party. Splurge and get lower deck seats. Learn the words to “Neck” so you can enjoy it in good fun while it’s aimed at you during tailgate time.

I would suggest trying to get tickets from a season ticket holder. Find someone who has access via that method but not going and get them to order for you in March when they place their ticket order. Visitors sections are upper deck and lower end zone corner, unless it has changed since I was there. I've sat in both. Upper is up there but you get a good view of things opening up and closing on plays. In lower, you are far away from the other end zone so difficult to see, depending on how low you might be. If you want to go I wouldn't be concerned with where you sit, just go and enjoy the venue.

Get there before the team arrives and find where they go into the stadium. Mike the Tiger will be there in a cage. LSU kids rattle his cage so he growls at the players walking in. pretty neat to see.

Find a friendly Cajun, there are plenty, and hit a tailgate with them. My best times on road trips was always joining rivals tailgate and socializing with the rivals. Have done it on every venue.

If its day game, expect extreme heat. Night game better but not by much. I don't recall when game is scheduled but it will likely be hot.

Have fund. Most important part of going on the road.

I usually go to NO every year. My last trip there was Feb 2020. My friends who live there tell me not to come there yet due to crime & crazy regulations. It’s safe to fly into but my suggestion is not to plan a couple days or nights there unless changes are made. People tell me you can get robbed or car jacked at 6pm. You can always change you plans if things improve but don’t count on it. . If you want to spend a night or two away from BR, I’d suggest the casinos in Biloxi.

that's awesome I'm 24 years old my wife and I are wanting to do the same thing visit all the stadiums starting with South Carolina this year how long has it taken you to complete?

It’s worth every penny seeing the other stadiums, campuses, fans and traditions they have. I just turned 50. It’s a lot harder to do now since they added teams and we don’t visit as often. If you’re starting with USC jr then you definitely have a lot to look forward to, USC jr was not impressive of a place at all, probably my least favorite of all. Vandy sucks but Nashville is a blast. Some we have gone back to multiple times and some we’re ok seeing once. My goal now is to see us win in all 14, 5 to go on that. Good luck!

Yes they do. I jave a friend who's an LSU fan and we often get togethet to watch FL or Bama play UT or LSU, as we each relish rooting against those teams.

Meanwhile, LSU has just added a 4th QB, getting transfer from Ariz State, Jayden Daniels. He sounds "Hooker-esque" as he is a 65% passer and can make plays with his feet as well. Has started more college games than any other Tiger QB, not just freshmen Howard and Nussmeier, but including returning veteran Brennan also.

Should be an interesting competition there this Spring.
