LSU or Bama?

I think the polls will keep UT ranked 1 spot ahead of Bama. So having Bama win until the SEC championship game and then losing would probably be UTs best chance to be the highest ranked one loss team to be taken.

I'm pulling for LSU.
Don't want them to even think about giving Bama a chance at the P/O
Also I don't want to hear these TN born Bama bandwagon fans cheering Monday about how TN lost

If Bama, Clemson, and Michigan lose, we are in fantastic shape. If two of those lose, we are still in great shape. If one loses, we’re still good. And if none of that happens? We still win out and play in the Sugar Bowl. Love these Vols.

Man, what a difference Gibbs would have made to this team if he'd chosen UT instead of bama. We've been very successful on the ground, but he would have made such a difference. Several times today both Small and Wright had runs that Gibbs likely would have taken to the house. He might have been a difference maker in the game today. I know the game revolves around the qb and wrs, but we really need a difference maker at RB and this offense would be even more spectacular.

We’ve beat both teams. We need bama to lose tonight. That puts the em out.

LSU has two losses. I think Georgia will beat them in Atlanta.

Clemson is out.

We got a shot

Clemson is out after tonight. Michigan and OSU both struggled today.

I don't understand how some of y'all can still stomach watching some of these other games after the way we laid down and how it's being talked about over and over and over again.

Nah. Bama over LSU and Ole Miss but then losing to UGA still gives us a really strong chance as the 2nd team from the SEC as long as the playoffs take 2 SEC teams.
This is silly. Bama loses now, there's no chance they screw us by beating Georgia in Atlanta.

Since this thread is so divided I'd say it doesn't matter who wins between Bama and LSU. All that matters is Georgia winning the SEC and Clemson/TCU losing. Tennessee beating Bama, LSU, Florida, Kentucky, and Pitt should put them in over all other 1 loss teams not named Georgia.

If UGA is a lock no matter who wins in Atlanta, I was assured that a 13-0 TCU has no shot of missing the playoff..... Or maybe a 13-0 TCU isn't a lock to make the playoff after all.....

I agree an undefeated TCU gets in. Clemson is losing to ND 28-7 in the 4th Q, so if that holds:

GA (assuming they get to SECCG undefeated, win or lose they're in)
Either tOSU/MI (whichever is undefeated)
TCU if undefeated
If 1 loss Bama wins out and wins SECCG they probably edge out
1 loss Oregon if they win out and win the PAC12 championship
If either Oregon or Bama lost a regular season or championship game, that would leave 1 loss TN with a shot.

Maybe.

Idk I think its more cut and dry. I think UGA wins in atlanta, we are in. They lose, they are still in with SEC Champ also in.

I'm talking about today. The common line all night will be our beatdown. Don't want to watch it.
Well, we were manhandled, but the score isn't indicative of how bad it was. Since a lot of voters don't actually watch all the games, it might not hurt us as much as we'd feared. And a loss is a loss. By 1 or 30, it's still just one loss.

I agree. Personally, I just don't want to see any highlights or analysis. It's not pretty.
