LSU in title game?... where does that put UT, UGA, UF?

Considering the distance between Gainsville, Orlando, and Tampa geography really isn't a huge factor. I think it makes the most sense to the Capital One Bowl to take the higher ranked team, and leave us go against Wisconsin in the Outback Bowl. Any SEC team that gets Michigan should kill them considering the circumstances though.

We are heading to the Outback Bowl from the way it sounds. UF was going to get Illinois in the Citrus until OSU moved into the title game, now the Illini appear to be headed to the Rose Bowl.

UF will most likely face Michigan. UF will roll UM, UM has a weak secondary and Tebow will go ballistic on the Wolverines.

USC Illinois, I wonder who would win. :eek:lol:

I was there too...I'd like to go again but I'll be moving into UT around the same time so I guess that's just as good :rock2:

I think USC makes a statement for next season and blows out Illinois. They will likely be #1 going into next year.

Title Game: LSU

For that matter, how does Kansas get the at-large BCS nod over Missou, when UM had a stronger schedule and beat Kansas head-to-head?

I don't see much of a prestige difference between Outback and Cap One. If you want to be miffed, be miffed we are ranked higher than UT. Otherwise, to me we are in the same boat.

One thing I haven't heard pointed out yet is the fact a 2 loss team is playing for the champ. 10-15 years ago that would have been unheard of. And I'll say it again (but I'm sure I'll get blasted by someone) this just proves the fact of how badly a playoff is needed. Who's to say OSU is #1? There is no clear cut #1 team, and I think this will be a problem for years to come with the way parity is in today's game.

I personally don't think that tOSU has particularly done anything to deserve to be there, but its basically a case this year of about 30 teams that had a shot and blew it and they happen to be the last one standing.

That's exactly my point. It was more of a process of elimination than it was picking the 2 best teams.
