Ok guys, Lets start talking about the LSU game!! whoo hoo I am ready to go for this game. I am already excited to see how we come out after last week. No way we lose this game. LSU did not look impressive anywhere except special teams, our weakness. I say we can move the ball up and down the field on LSU all the way to victory...............

Sorry man, but after our last two games, I don't see how you or anybody on this board can honestly say that you think we won't lose this game. There is no point in writing checks that our team can't cash.

I can see how we are going to win. We need to stick to one qb, Run the ball way more, and play better on special teams. We were a running team trying to pass last night. I doubt that happens again.

Well while you wallow in our loss and put down our team and coaches...let us other UT fans look at the positives and support our team.

Ridiculous...hopefully this loss knocks the bandwagon fans off

Can't see how we will beat LSU? Christ, we are a Top 10 freakin team still.

No doubt man. I feel we wont lose another game this year, but thats just me. Its funny how I said we were going to lose aginst Florida. Pick em to win, get ripped, florida wins, Now I pick tennessee to win, and I am getting ripped again.

I think most of the bandwagon fans fell off a few seasons after the NC. Not too much spectacular things to draw bandwagon fans have happened for us.

Anyone who rips you for picking UT is just crying over last nights loss.

We can still win the East.

People said we were a terrible team after last year's AU loss too. Amazing how that changed when we won the East

Let's talk about the LSU game then...what do you think, and why?

I think we have a good shot and don't see why we can't win, but a lot needs to be improved and Ainge needs to step up while Rick holds a clipboard.

We need Robert Meacheam to step up his game. He did absolutely nothing last night and if he doesnt step it up then we lose. We need that one dominating reciver, not a bunch of average ones.

Get off your high horse U-T. I'm not a bandwagon fan. Don't blame me if you don't expect more from our team. Maybe you just don't care that much. Doesn't matter, there was not much to be impressed with on either side of the ball last night, facts are facts.

I will continue to support the Vols, but to say we are going to rock LSU's world is just not realistic. I mean, what is that based on? We have a good chace to beat LSU, but it's not going to happen if we play like we have the last two games.

To beat LSU we need to start fast and put up two scores(2TDs or 1TD&1FG). If UT does that then we take the crowd out of the game. Many fans don't want to her this but UT needs to run the ball 40 times and throw here and there just to keep the defense honest. :twocents:

Get off your high horse U-T.

Quit bashing our program/team by saying we shouldn't even think about beating LSU

What a joke

You would think we are a division II program the way some so-called fans are talking.

BTW, who the hell said we would rock LSU's world? You are the one who said

I don't see how you or anybody on this board can honestly say that you think we won't lose this game.

Don't change your argument because you know how ridiculous your comments are.

When I said that, I meant it to read that I don't see how anybody on this board can honestly say that we CAN'T lose this game......

My bad, I know there is always a chance that we could win it. Still, I don't know how you are so positive that we will win. Blind faith is not something that I possess. I only go off of what I see.

Hopefully at LSU, we won't see that same offense and special teams that we have in the last 2 games. Until then, I reserve the right to have my doubts.

Here is what I said in another thread and what I really meant by the quote above.

I think that there's no reason to do that because you can't guarantee a win.

Yeah, I'm a little down about the game last night, but I'm just being realistic here. Our offense can't score or stay on the field, our defense is good but folds on the most important down and that is third down, and our special teams are obsolete. Add to that the QB situation and playing LSU at night at their stadium and I just don't see how anyone could guarantee a win at this point.

ahhh so, If I guess your are rooting for LSU then OWB, cause it seems like you don't have no faith in our team. You win some and you lose some, and dont forget its only a game.

I say we win this weekend. 21 to 10.

With all due respect 2345, don't lecture me on we win some we lose some and it's only a game. I already know that.

Why don't you make a list of all the positive things you have seen from our squad in the last two games that gives you the confidence to predict a win at LSU. Our defense can't win it all, well they could I guess, but it's not likely.

I am in NO WAY pulling for LSU this weekend. You have lost your mind. I am just extremely disappointed over this UF game and will hopefully be over it by Wednesday or so.

So do me a favor, quit telling me I'm pulling for LSU and have no faith in our team. I'm just calling it like I see it and let me put emphasis on the way I SEE IT.....

Our offense played good enough to win that game. if wilhoit makes that kick we would have went up 10-7. If Britton could have made that kick instead of the fake no way does Florida get a field goal on that drive, and If heffney could catch the ball on the punt, no way the get points on that drive. So really without special teams the score was 10-10. Bet you didn't look at it like that. But last night was a defensive game. After the first touchdown by Florida they didn't see the other side of the field unless it was a turnover by us, . Our offense should have been able to take it into overtime with the way they played yesterday, But special teams ruined that one for us.

Of course I looked at it that way. That's about the only thing keeping me sane. I know if not for our special teams we might have pulled it out, but we didn't did we? I could sit here all night and say what if this and what if that.

I hope we come out and destroy LSU, but I'm not going to say that it's a sure thing.

Everyone must remember LSU is ranked Higher than Florida and they have an offense just as good. I dont think there defense is good as Florida, but it dont have to be to stop our confused offense. And dont forget Tiger Stadium is as hard as a place to play as Florida Field. I dont think our offense can solve there problems in one week, they have had all spring and summer for goodness sake. I say this time next week we are 1-2.

Do I sense a bit of positive tone, Orangewhiteblood?

I wouldn't say positive as much as hopeful. I'll admit that there is still a lot of hope. I just want our team to pull together and play some good football. My whole point in this thread was just that I think it's naive to be saying that we will win. I'm not really saying that you all shouldn't say it as much as I am just thinking out loud.

Trust me, I really really really really hope we beat LSU this weekend. I hope we beat them badly.
