If Bruce Pearl coaches here and never wins a national championship i'll be completely happy. If we win 24 games every year and compete in the NCAA tourney I will be happy EVERY year. I'm just glad that TN has a coach that can apparently recruit and develop really good players. Like Pearl said in his recent interview, "we don't have any McDonald's All Americans on our team."

I like that. I like that we recruit guys that will be 3-4 year players here. I don't want guys like Oden. I want guys who will be here for 3-4 years and take pride in their University. It would be great to go to some final 4s and have a lot of success in basketball, but I want success in freaking FOOTBALL.

Yeah, I don't understand that either. Pearl has taken a program that was middle of the pack at best, and cellar dweller at worst, and turned them in the first year into an NCAA tourney team, beat the national champs twice. In his second year, he took this team to the sweet 16 and this upcoming year has developed a lot of high expectations on what should be a very talented team.
