the golden girls travel with the full lsu band to selected regular season away games and bowl games,they don't travel with the pep band to away game.


if lsu is bringing the pep band,than no the golden girls won't be coming.

1. There's a good chance there's a speaker nearby.
2. The Pride is pointing directly at you.

I'm talking about sections like B. They will have a legitimately difficult time hearing the Pride because the sound escapes

Hell, I'd have to down half a keg to even look in their general direction. There's so much makeup on that majorette line I bet it comes in industrial drums and has to be applied with a spade. Not to mention the hairspray required to keep those antiquated Southern Belle hairstyles in place - don't light your cigars within 100 feet of them, folks.

I bet they're probably really great ladies, all of them, when the makeup is off and they're 50 lbs lighter (not to mention slightly less flammable without the gallon of White Rain in their hair). Painted women just don't do much for me, especially when their stand music routines make them look like they're suffering from a synchronized attack of St. Vitas' Dance.

i always liked to listen to rocky top,i may a lsu fan,but i do have some tennessee vols stuff in my bedroom,my parents are graduates of ut,but my sibling are graduates of lsu.

Looks like this is turning into the Tubalumni thread. Was in the wind ensemble for a year and a half from S99 to S00. Had a blast. Survived the tuba studio. Good times.

Was also Fuller's band camp roommate our freshman year.

I was there for some of the good years of the tuba studio before everything hit the fan with the divorce et al. It was kind of scary how quickly things went from us having one of the best performance spots at the Southeast Tuba Euphonium conference to just a handful of students. I'd say more in PMs, but there doesn't seem to be a PM system here anymore.

And if it's any reference, I am the third verse of the Hog Calling song. I think they still sang that while you were there.

yep. hog song was a classic. Theres only like 1 tuba major now. and like 2 euph majors
