Lattimore, Jeffries, and returning a lot of starters from last year's team... on top of the number one overall recruit's arrival. Plus they have a QB who has been in the system since the 90's or so it seems

i am not sold on SC either - they were mediocre last year in conference play and will be again this year

the big boys are coming up and they will very soon find their way back down to vandy and ky in the east

4th in the SECE...I bet we finish 2nd or 3rd.

Down side is on our depth chart, we have 14 Freshmen and Sophomores starting...not playing....STARTING.

Our SEC schedule is our downfall this year; there are none more difficult. If we had Georgia's SEC schedule i could really see us going 9+ wins.

Preseason #8...I'll take it. We play 6 of the 7 ahead of us during the season, plenty of chance to prove where we should (or shouldn't) be.

Arkansas is not the third best team and Miss. St. is not better than Florida. I think Florida is being vastly underrated this season; they, along with Alabama, still have the best talent in the SEC.

Alabama will be at top, UK and Vandy at bottom, 2-10 is a crap shoot. LSU, UG and USC are overated, UF is underrated. Other than Bama this is probably the most wide open the race has been in a long time.

I think they can go either way.. they have a lot of top notch talent, but there are two bug-a-boos

1) Garcia staying off the sauce

2) They are still USCe

I think we do have the toughest SEC schedule.

someone in the west has to have the toughest schedule u would think as most people think they have the 3 best SEC teams

Arky's looks pretty tough

LSU ahd to be in question now that Jefferson is possibly gone. You're right though. The middle of the pack is just too close to call right now.

You are right. With Jefferson gone, they should be alot better as a team.

Too bad our draws from the West this year are the 3 best teams in the conference

might as well get it over with this year while expectations are still reasonable. LSU falls off next year and we get Arky at home as well as Florida and Bama.

and we'll be picking up a Miss State team that will be losing a lot of key players likely after this season. We're going to catch them at a good time.

With Lee, I give them a meh. With Mettenberger, they could seriously be quite a bit better.

You would think that having 48 pairs of shoes would have made it hard to peg the kick to the head on Jefferson.

Agree with 1-4 and 10-12, but my 5-9 would look like:

5. Mississippi State
6. Florida
7. Georgia
8. Auburn
9. Tennessee

Not feelin' all the UGA love. Bet that drops off after Boise and USCe. I think we beat the Dawgs at Neyland, which should move us above them, especially if they lose to USCe.

To be the best you have to beat the best...

Not really applicable here. We are rebuilding. I'm sure recruits would love hearing 'oh yeah we lost because they were realllly good'.

We could have used a softer schedule to look a bit better going into next year

I really need to put him on my ignore list, I just get even more dumb when he says something.
