The response to my request to the Dean of Students to move my seat from Section E to Section DD:

Sorry but Athletics has took those tickets already because of low sales.

Ugh, why can my fellow students not find $10 to spend on a ticket for a damn SEC night game...

Not apathy just disillusionment. It's tough being a Vol fan right now. They need to see a ray of hope. We all need to see a raynof hope.
My daughter will be amongst the student crowd as always.

Perfect storm--Start charging for student tickets, and losing games all at the same time.

Heck, imagine my surprise when I got on to screw around with the lottery last night and ended up with a seat in Row 1 of E. I just don't get it, especially for a night game.

So we should only go to games that we are certain we are going to win? There's no fun in that. I'd rather go to a game where we're likely to lose just to be there in case of an upset rather than watch a game we 'know' we're going to win and either have no excited or be depressed over a loss that we shouldn't have had.

If you're going to skip a game skip MTSU, not the last really important game of the year. The fickleness of the students here is simply ridiculous.

This is the perfect storm so to speak, the Hamilton administration started asking cash strapped students to spend more money than most have and we have had an average at best team the last couple of years. Had we played closer against LSU and Alabama, then this would not have been an issue, but the students aren't going to spend what little disposable income most have in order to attend a game they believe we will lose, though I disagree I think we beat South Carolina(just my honest opinion). They are like the rest of us, just hoping for some glimmer of hope. I've attended a couple of games this season(about all my salary allows), but it's hard to keep hoping and keep getting beaten in important games. Dooley wins this and suddenly student sales become less of an issue.

Another reason could be its the night all the big bars are having their Halloween costume parties. I could be wrong, who knows.

^^^ Loser fan, IMO. ^^^ talk about apathy. Fan card now revoked. So being in "crappy ohio", it's safe to assume based on your comment that you're not going to listen to them on the radio or watch them on TV if you can get it, because it's not a sure win, right? Gimme a break.

Yeah, I kinda giggled when I read that the first time, but then I came to the realization that we can't sell tickets to an SEC night game.

I'm going home. Have fun.

I like how every week it's *****ing about the student section, when there are huge numbers missing from up top. It's not just the students.

But, but the main purpose of us attending this University is to support the football team. How could you?
