I'd be ok with this if our defense was playing with a little more heart. They ran through the T defeated. Heart breaking. That being said....Dayum...that reception was hott! Pig!!!

To the OP:

We've been saying for friggin years its the "low point". Guess what? There is no low point. This whole program's name is "Low Point" .

The low point is now just the average normal Saturday.

Not the Sun Belt! My alma mater Georgia Southern who I watched defeat the Gators in the swamp last year in the Lauricella Lettermen's Center just before watching Vandy beat us, would run all over us. It's just sad. We can't even muster a fight. It's the talent level of the players but mainly the coaches. Hopefully, Jones can recruit enough talent that when we get a more experienced coach with a better staff, he can have great success.

The whole issue with our program has been lack of progression. We have not capitalized on the Oklahoma game or the UGA game. We don't improve, we regress. Every year. Look at uk. Look at miss st. Look at ole miss. Look at Arkansas. Why are we the only team that regressed year in and year out.

You may have a point with the Butch Jones thing......is it really that hard to know a good coach when you see one, meet one, trip over one???? Why does OTHER Universities hire good coaches and UT acts like it's their first rodeo every time they have to????? There's a coach out there that might do better than Fulmer, but this bunch wont find him. They'll settle for some dweed and pay him handsomely.

Who was here tonight visiting (recruits)? If they didn't like this atmosphere, I don't know how to impress them. Hope there were some OL in the house.:good!:

Those of us that are the wiser just need to ignore their IGNORance. These will be the same people cheering things on next year. They are called bandwagon fans. They have no understanding of the game at all. Oh sure they think they know but aside from knowing basic ideas they really don't understand why we have been in this position. Jones knew this was a teaching year. We should have beat Florida but aside from that...we have been running uphill all season. Things are on the upswing...if you can't see it...wait to be proven wrong. Again, not this year...but next year for sure.

nothing mediocre when you are the 8th winningest D1 program of all time

we have won at least 5 games every year since 1977

other than florida game(mega-choke) we have lost to 4 top 10 teams.... sometimes when you are a top 30 team it happens

we could easily win out and beat some crappy acc team to finish 8-5

considering we are starting an inordinate amount of freshman and our LT doesn't have a functioning ACL you have to be nuts not to be just a little hopeful.......

obviously we have to actually start winning but clearly we are improving and headed in a good direction

It's called lack of depth. Not lack of progression.
