That's good news because we are trying to get a couple of recruits from Bama. It's bad news because Lennon Creer, our main RB recruit, is looking at Oklahoma State, I believe.

Its bad because it gives Bama even more reason to go after Cutliffe. They've expressed interest..and he has acknowledged he wants to be a head coach again. ......

They want a guy that's won championships. They DO NOT WANT any UT coach. You don't go from Steve Spurrier to Nick Saban to Rich Rodriguez to David Cutcliffe. That's a huge dropoff as far as accomplishments go. Also, Bama fans hate anyone associated with Fulmer. Cut and Phil are best friends. I would seriously expect Johnny Majors to be their next head coach before I would Cutcliffe.

If it wasn't bad enough that Bama lost the game, they are losing recruits too.

Mike Ford, a 5 star running back, decommitted from Alabama and will be enrolling at USF in the spring semester. Robert Marve, a 4 star QB, might not be far behind.

I don't love it. I don't love it at all.

What do I love? I love it when Tennessee beats Bama and it means something. I love it when two storied, and still strong, programs go at it and the best team wins. I love it when Alabama is strong. I love it even more when Tennessee beats a strong Alabama rival.

So Bama: Get your sh*t together and give us a good ten-year rivalry for the ages. I'm ready for it. Are you?

I have a suggestion for Bama. Maybe they should hire Jim Mora as their HC. He and Bama both seem to be living in never, never land. Seems to be a perfect fit.:crazy: They obviously have enough money to steer him away from Washington and the Falcons.

In fairness, the word is that Ford does not have the grades to get into Bama. If that is true I don't know what to think about the guy considering that Bama sent me an unsolicited scholarship offer based on nothing more than an ACT score.
