JH actually used the word LOVE in the press conference. Something about how love let’s us connect and then that let’s us play together as a team. After thinking about it a few hours now, I have drawn one conclusion: that man has courage. Imagine standing up to Volnation with our pitchforks in hand, and then talking about love. Don’t think I’ve ever heard that word from a college football podium before.

He doesn’t have a way with words, but he has courage. Which would you rather him have?

I am convicted of something much bigger than football.

If there was more love the world would be a much better place.

I get it. You want everyone to be happy with the hire so it won't feel as bad as it truly is. Cool. You do you. I will do me.
Sweet. Stay Nega. The board is full of it so you fit right in. I guess it's the collective vibe of UT fanatics.

He already has...as a player and a coach.

Not in the SEC he hasn't, and playing doesn't count in a head coaches' record. He only won more than 6 games at UCF because he still had Frost's recruits.

Edit: Reread statement. Heupel was only the runner-up to the Heisman in 2000. Chris Weinke, of all people, won the Heisman in 2000.

Coaches are hired guns. This one is gonna walk out of here not having to work another day in his life. We don’t need to be soft with him. The guy just isn’t going to get it done. Don’t know how good or bad he’ll be but I don’t see him scaring Mullen or Kirby too much.

I'm not thrilled, but you have no idea nor do I what is going to happen. It is what it is so might as well hope for the best and not be negative until that time comes...
